Haven't used this one yet but the one for nylon backpacks worked great water repels we'll see about the UV protection

I got a pair of black bearpaw boots. And really wanted to waterproof them. After some reading some reviews on different products, I settled on this one. I was nervous to apply it. But it was real easy. I did apply it to dry boots and I did not clean them as they are new. Very easy to spray. It did come out in globs on the second boot. But I shook the bottle again and sprayed a couple in the grass. And it was fine. Spray it 6 inches away from the boot. Pat any excess off after a couple of minutes. And let sit for 24hrs in a dry place. The instructions are very simple. BUT. Are very vague. It does not tell you how long to let them sit for after application. I let mine sit for 24hrs. And that was fine. I’d let them sit for 48hrs if you wet them. The boots are waterproof! I tested it out. So this is a good product.

I was nervous to try this, but glad I did. I used in conjunction with the Nikwax cleaning gel. I was worried it would be splotchy and uneven, but it looks fine. There is one faded streak in one spot, which I think is due to the cleaning gel and will probably come out the next time I clean them (if that's ever even needed). As others mentioned, there was a bit of darkening to the color, which I expected. One of my pictured shows this where I pull out the boot tongue for comparison (I didn't really treat the inner overlap of the tongue). Another picture shows how water just beads off of them now. I only braved holding them under the faucet for about 2 seconds, so not sure when they would start absorbing water. I used about half of the bottle, but I ended up going back in to release one of the boots and having to spray it a second time haha.

Used this on multiple pairs of shoes and a suede bag, no stains so far and easy to apply. There is a slight scent when you initially apply it, but nothing that lasts.

Water-proofed my suede shoes. Definitely works but be wary of the fabric being affected.

Dries quickly and works well. Used it over metallic fabric paint on old pair of birks.

When this product arrived, the lid wasn’t on correctly and quite a bit had leaked out. Not great since there’s not a lot in the can to begin with. I did use it to spray 2 pairs of Uggs. Seems to be effective and did not discolor the suede.

Works well on some expensive boots I bought. Worn in wet weather in Iceland all week and protected my boots.

Works extremely well and the spray bottle is better than an aerosol product as you do not have to worry about inhaling any toxic vapours. This is a low odour product as well, sprayed outside then brought boots in after 10-15 mins, no issues with lingering odour/fumes. Would recommend buying to protect your new footwear from the ravages of snow, ice, road salt, rain and other weather that may result in cold wet feet and a sad day.

Very easy to use and did not discolor the suede shoes I used it on.

Used as instructed, product ended up leaving a residue on the shoes.
