I bought this Chamois leather to dry my car with after washing it. It leaves my car smears free and shiny.I have used Chamois leather in the past but what usually used to happen the leather would go dry and crap up and end up virtually useless. So I thought there must be a better way to preserve the leather to prolong it's life.The best way is to gently wash the chamois in a warm soapy water after the use - not washing up liquid - if you don't have soapy water - a little bit of a car wash will do. Then throw the dirty soapy water away and prepare a new clean soapy water and rinse the chamois in this solution squeezing chamois gently rather then wringing - then let it dry stretched out on a flat surface. When dry - scrunch it up and rub it to make it soft again.

I used one for wiping my house windows at the start of fall. One was enough for all the upstairs, downstairs, and basement windows, and there was no ripping or disintegration of the material. The only thing I'd change for my next order would be to find a smaller size easier for wiping.

Works wonderfully. Make sure to wash it before using though. I used it right out of the package and it left white streaks. I didn't read the package first.

These were terrible I would never buy these again they left marks all over the car and when I received them they were just pieces cut off that's it not very good quality at all !!

I cut a piece for my eye glasses and the rest I use for the wind shield. Is softer and thinner on the edges and thicker toward the middle. The thinner part I use for my eye glasses and Im very happy with the result. I haven't wash it yet so I cant tell if will harden after that ( I know from my previous experience ) but even if it will becomes softer again if you crumple it few times

I thought this chamois did a very good job of drying. I use it to wipe down our shower after using and am very satisfied with the results.
