Best gluten free bread ever!
I ordered the variety pack of 4 gluten free breads which included the original sourdough, fig, olive herb, and seeded buckwheat. I was impressed by the high quality of each of the breads - all natural organic ingredients. I was excited to try all 4 breads. The sourdough varieties were the best sourdough Iโve had in many, many years. The seeded buckwheat was AMAZING. And being able to support a small business owner makes it even sweeter. I highly recommend all of Young Kobras breads. Iโll be placing my next order soon.

Quality ingredients
I appreciate that this company creates their gluten-free breads with quality organic ingredients. But I also realize having been gluten-free for a long time, itโs very difficult to make a delicious, light, crusty gluten-free bread without using subpar ingredients. Itโs a sad reality but true. But kudos to this company for sourcing ingredients that are organic and friendly to the digestive process. I was just so wanting to absolutely love this bread, but unfortunately Iโm not there. Itโs good, and I donโt mind paying a premium for good food, but I donโt like it that much that I would spend this kind of money. But you owe it to yourself to try itโฆYOU may like it.

I can eat any bread, and yet this is one of my faves!
I love the Young Kobras breads, all delicious in their own way. I don't understand the people down-rating these for taste, comparing them to standard gluten-free garbage typically plied in most grocery stores... those ones use conditioners, enzymes, tenderizers, preservatives, lots of sugar or fats (even unhealthy saturated fats)... So yeah, if you cheat like crazy you can improve the taste in some ways, but at the cost of your health! Wake up people, stop spending money to support inferior food. Vote with your wallet for better food, companies doing the right thing, companies who care about their customer's health, especially small producers like this one. I can currently eat gluten containing breads, but I focus on organic authentic sourdough breads even on those to reduce the gluten load on my system to hopefully not prompt my body to become gluten sensitive, and also mix in these gluten-free products to also greatly reduce the gluten load... all this effort should reduce the chances or extent of the possibility of a leaky gut, etc too. So yes, this is one of the gluten-free breads that are actually healthy to eat and that I love even though I can fortunately still choose any bread.

They Don't Last Long
So, I wasn't able to pick them up from my box for a few days after they arrived, but when I did open the box, all four loaves were completely covered in mold. Normally, I would have requested a refund but since I didn't get them right away, I can't say they weren't moldy on the actual day they arrived. However, I suspect they were given the amount of mold, like science fair project amounts. Even if they were OK on day one, a few days is less than I would have expected they should last. This is more of a warning than a review...cause I didn't get to nom them.

So Thankful!
If you are trying to compare this to mainstream gluten-free breads, you will be missing out. It does not have all the gums and texturizers that they contain and that's a good thing. I got sick eight years ago and cannot eat any of the gluten-free breads available. I do not have the strength to make my own. I am so very glad to have found these. I have tried them all and they are all great. If eaten as a side, I like to toast it until lightly browned. Gives it a nice crispiness. If I want to use them for sandwiches, I toast them just long enough to dry it out slightly and lightly toast the edges. That keeps them pliable enough to handle a stack of lunch meat, avocados or mayonnaise, and a handful of mixed greens. They are all worth it.

The *best* gluten free bread
Soft, flavorful, great texture. Just what Iโd been missing out on since I found out I could not have gluten. When the bread arrived, I followed the directions and placed the loaves in the freezer, except one loaf to be eaten first, which was refrigerated. Instead of toasting, I softened the pieces with the defrost setting on the microwave. This kept them soft, which is something most gluten free bread cannot attain. While other reviews have mentioned the cost, and I agree itโs a bit pricey, I eat less bread than before, and it goes a long way. There was a 15% off coupon at the time of my purchase, hopefully that will be available often. But this bread is worth it to me!
