This company is great. 14 months after making this purchase My screen started to flicker I contact the company and within two days they're shipping me a new screen. Great customer service and a great product it is very accurate and well worth the money.

This is a nice weather monitor the lighting strike indicator works well and has a handy warning tone to get your attention. It’s easy to set up takes a few minutes. After it learns your local weather patterns it’s surprisingly accurate. It’s aesthetically pleasing to the eye sitting out in the open. If I had one negative to say about it maybe a tiny bit bigger display.

Initial power up and set up appeared to be correct. However Lightning Detector showed interference and was not functional as such. Showed interference existing. Changed sensor locations and channels with zero success.Consulted with AcuRite support. Was advised to perform a reset on the weather instrument that I had mounted on my TV antenna tower at 30 ft. AGL and a reset on the Lightning Detector and a Reset on the display. Not gonna climb the tower to do that!. Ordered a replacement Lightning Detector via Amazon. Arrived promptly the next day. Installed the batteries and the Lightning Detector immediately synced with the display showing lightning strikes along with temperature and humidity. Problem resolved.AcuRite support was very helpful but seemed to insist on troubleshooting steps that were not totally necessary nor accurate.Second item, the display numbers are not very visible when the display is above eye level.

Purchased some time ago and it has been working well for 3 plus months that I've owned. My mounting solution required the purchase of a two foot pipe and a mounting bracket to attach to my roof in order to get more height, more accurate readings. I also purchased the recommended remote battery pack which makes access to battery changes much easier. It seems to be very accurate as compared to other sensors in my neighborhood which can be accessed via weather underground website. It will go into learning mode for the 1st two weeks then it will start to give you weather forecast information. Please note that if you change the batteries on the display unit, it will start the learning mode over again. It successfully detects lightning strikes. It has very useful data compilation and summary information in all recorded categories. All sensors work well including inside temperature & humidity, outside temperature & humidity, barometric pressure, wind speed and direction, rain fall levels, lightning strikes, etc. I can't emphasize enough how important it is to follow mounding instructions carefully to ensure proper readings, including mounting the station level, pointed at north direction, sturdy mounding to secure surface and proper height, secure and proper mounting of battery back cable which goes from the weather station to convenient location at ground level. If you are not getting accurate readings on any of the data points, they can be corrected, calibrated manually. The display is sufficiently bright but is more useful if located closed to user like a desk top or table top as information is not in a sufficiently large enough font for across the room reading.

We love this weather station with the lightening within 15 miles or more. It will let you know both inside and outside by the sensor that there is lightening in the area. This was a feature that we didn't have on our 1st weather station. The display is easy to read and set up.

Initial setup was a little tricky but I could get it done. All the readings seem accurate. At least reasonable. Rain gauge matched our one rain catcher mounted on the fence. lightening strikes are something else. We had storms moving thru the area the first day of use. It recorded 800+/- strikes. No way to verify that. Had storms move thru today and recorded 87 strikes. In both cases the strikes were within 1-17 miles away. It does record strikes when the skies are clear. Weather maps don't show any clouds in the area. I consider the strike indicator a novelty. Barometric pressure indications seem to match our weather conditions.

Update: This thing is a real piece if junk. After two months, and after my return period to Amazon has expired, the display unit failed completely.I was finally able to get it to come back to life by unplugging the power and removing the backup batteries to completely reset it, but then I had to completely reprogram the settings again and lost all of the previous history. I guess I'll have that to look forward to every so often, if I don't just throw the thing in the trash one of these days. DON'T EVEN BOTHER with this piece of junk. What a waste of money!Yet another Update: The reason for the reset is the thing is EXTREMELY sensitive to any electrical noise. Just turning on a light switch or plugging something into the same socket as the wall wart will lock the thing up. To reset it, you have to unplug the wall wart and pull one of each of the two battery sets, then go through the entire tedious setup process again.Initial Review:The user interface is baffling and times out so fast you don't have time to follow the step by step instructions for setting anything up properly. You have to know ahead of time what you need to set, and the procedure for doing so, or else you'll find yourself lost in a maze of options and then the damn thing times out and goes back to display mode. The only good thing about it so far is the temperature and wind speed/direction seem to work okay. The humidity sensor reads way too high all the time and tells me its raining almost all the time. As hard as I've tried to calibrate the barometer it just won't let me. The lightning sensor is extremely sensitive to electrical glitches from simply turning on a light switch.Also, the damn thing requires 14 (yes FOURTEEN) batteries to work properly! 4 for the sensor unit, 4 for the lightning detector, and 6 for the base unit. I tried using the base unit without the "optional" backup batteries and it wouldn't connect to anything. After installing them it worked just fine. What a waste of batteries!Followup: I bought this for my ham radio room and found it's not at all FCC Part 97 compliant. Even at the lowest QRP levels the monitor unit freaks out. I've moved it to my living room at the other end of my house now but that's really inconvenient and not what I bought it for.

just as i ordered. good value. quality product and easy to see. setup can be tricky. my 2nd one.

マニュアルが不親切である。06046Mは機能満載であるがその分設定が面倒でその設定方法の説明が不十分機能満載もいいがその分、説明書は丁寧にきさいしてほしい。以前購入のディスプレイ01036A1はとても簡単でした。

Really pleased with product so far, delivery and packaging. My only suggestions for future would be to supply an English plug adaptor (if shipping to UK) plus the bottom scrolling screen text on the device is very small / dim - it can't be read easily without having to approach the device close up.
