Got this because most of the reviews were just nothing but positive and I’ve seen someone say it worked for their cosplay wig. I 100% can say it definitely works well for wigs (be sure it’s heat safe) and I have even used it for my own hair and it works very fast!! I do wish they had different plates or a crimper that is 7-8 tooth for smaller textures!! This one only has 5 so it’s bigger. A 7-8 tooth crimper would be god send for cosplay wigs or if you want the pattern to be even smaller. I just got this one because it seemed to be more affordable and had good reviews. I do like that it includes a glove. The heat levels are fine, I use the two lowest ones and they do auto shut off after a bit which is fine. It helps in case you forget about it or leave it away for too long. I bought this for my cosplay wig but I wouldn’t mind using it on my real hair for some texture or volume

Heats up very fast. Performed better than I expected! Gave me lots of volume until next shampoo. Unit was made well and did not feel cheap. I would highly recommend this for volume performance!

iked it! nothing fancy, just does the job. i mostly use it at the roots for that instant lift and it works—gives that “fresh blowout” oomph without teasing. heats up quick, crimps hold all day, and it doesn’t snag. pros: easy to use, great root volume, long-lasting texture. cons: plates get hot (watch your scalp), and if you overdo it you’ll see tiny crimp lines—go light and only at the roots. tips: do small sections, quick clamp-and-release, then fluff with fingers. a little heat protectant + a light hairspray at the roots = chef’s kiss. overall: happy with it for volume days.

I bought this specifically to use for Halloween, and my Viking themed costume. I had great plans...but ran into timing issues, but actually still was able to do an OK job I think. I actually "crimped" my hair the night before, and it held fantastically for over 15 hours, before I ever actually worked on the "do." So, I was quite impressed with this thing. It did everything I needed it to and more! I still use it, whenever I want to give myself a bit more volume on date night, and it works fantastic! The cord is really long, it is light-weight, heats fast, and easing to use. I have only used it up to the third heat setting, mostly the 2nd, but sometimes the 3rd. I have never noticed a smell on these settings, and it does not burn my hair. For my hair type, I would never go hotter - I would never with any curling iron, for free of damage or actually burning off my hair! But it is pretty hot and works well for me at this level. I didn't take a great photo of my before hair on Halloween before we got busy, but you can still see the crimp and it held so well - this is with zero product in my hair, and probably 25 hours after I did it (even having slept on it!).

It crimps REALLY well, but the smell is so bad I only used it once and I’ll never use it again, so I just wasted all that money. I used it a full week ago and I’ve washed my hair three times and I STILL can’t get this burnt / chemical smell out of my hair. Super disappointed and now frustrated because I have long hair and have to smell it all day long. Would not recommend.

Ive bought this a while ago and since It came It has been giving me trouble to turn it on. Ive tried long pressing the button, pressing it quickly, changing it to another plug and Its not working. But Whats rare is that It doesn’t happen all the time, But it does MOST of the time. Like for example a few days ago I was using It and It worked just fine and today It doesn’t wanna turn on. And It doesn’t look broken or the wires damaged or anything you can think thats wrong It doesn’t look broken. And It works just fine when It wants to work.

I personally like the crimpr, worked best for my straight hair. Lasted for 2 days when styled with crimper, even without hair setting spray. Try it and you will love it

Product is generally good for the price, however the plug is a U.S plug which is no good for me as I am in Australia. It doesn’t mention anywhere in the description that it was a U.S plug. I would think if they are sending a product FROM Amazon Australia it would have an Australian plug. Also, the cord is quite short, so unless you have a socket that’s close by you’ll need an extension & a converter.

Calienta súper rápido, deja padrisimo el pelo.. en lo personal me lo compre para dar volumen pero me gustó mucho el tamaño de la onda que deja entonces ya opté por usarlo no solo para volumen, el costo súper bien, no siento que me maltrate el pelo. Eso sí lo tengo súper delgado entonces lo pongo a 160°. Súper ventaja que tenga niveles de calentamiento. Excelente compra
