If you are an inside pipe smoker, this is definitely worth it.
I use the A3 to handle pipe smoke in my office. It does the trick although because of the smoke I only get about 6 months out of a set of filters. You also may have to play with placement in the room to get optimum results.

Upgraded Version out
After I bought it, which they last for a year.. They came out with an upgraded one.. Oh well have to wait at least an year. To try it out

Be careful; to get filters tightly installed or red light flashes
It was frustrating to have the red light flashing 2 months into the year long cycle.
