Very Nice useful item
What I like about this is the extra room at the back for Pizzas. This fits standard frozen pizzas from the grocery store. As a single person in Florida it is nice to be able to bake or air fry and not heat up the whole apartment as a standard oven would do. It works great so far I got it yesterday. Cooking times may vary from suggestions it seems to take a little longer than what I see but that varies based upon what you are making of course. It definitely crisps things up the way it should on air fry mode. so far I have heated up both frozen and thawed out eggrolls. I made a turkey burger and some egg bites. Everything is working great now for the Cautions part Please be aware this appliance does get very hot!!! Place it safely in your home and do NOT leave it unattended for long. One issue I do see for this device is that there is a setting that has the oven STAY ON and although it is clearly marked as such if you are not aware of that and or not paying attention you could easily want to turn that dial all the way over thinking logically like most appliances all the way to the left is off unfortunately all the way to the left is STAY ON. It is great if you know that and are paying attention but just letting you know and if you have children that might use it please use caution and train them and have them monitor the device and use caution getting items out of the oven. Its just as hot as the regular oven just smaller and you can easily accidentally touch the sides if you are not careful. Overall I am happy with this purchase on got it during prime day deals so that was nice. I would definitely recommend and I love that the lid raises above the unit so that small spaces this feature comes in handy.

The search for a good oven is over!
I've spent the past 9 months buying and returning various toaster ovens after my old one became too hazardous to use after 20 years. (Thanks proctor silex for 20 years of a good oven.) I didn't want to keep the same tiny oven, I wanted an upgrade, so I tried every brand from Nuwave to Panasonic and none of them were suitable. Nuwave and a bunch of other brands were downright dangerous due to having guard rails on each side of the heating element. This causes crumbs and popped beans and other round foods to be held directly onto the element to catch fire, instead of rolling off. Panasonic and others didn't have guard rails, but they didn't allow the unit to be turned on and remain on. They have timers that max out at 30 minutes. I need to cook some foods longer than that. Finally I saw this at the Mart known as Wal and thought it might suit my needs. Bought it cheaper on Amazon and I've been satisfied. The search is finally over! The air fry function is definitely an upgrade and works amazingly well, the inside is pizza shaped so I can fit even large frozen stuffed crust pizzas, and the heating elements are safe and get very hot to cook foods properly and quickly. The only thing I'm a little worried about is the knob getting hot. I noticed the last time I used it for about 20 minutes to cook a pizza on 350, the top knob was HOT HOT. Not just a normal warmth, but like, it could have burned me if I held it for too long. That's not good, but I don't consider it a fire hazard because it cycles on and off well to prevent from getting too hot. Time will tell whether the wires or whatever get damaged from this.

Pretty good machine with some flaws
I have used this almost every day since I bought it, and its been wonderful. I got it because I basically cook 2 small meals each night because my son has 2 safe food dinners he will eat (major sensory issues), and I cannot eat what he eats. He also eats best later than myself. Unless I am making something bigger for visitors or special occasions, it seems like a waste to be heating the giant gas oven. It also doesn't heat the whole house thike my oven does, which is nice now that its getting warmer! Its convenient, also. The only thing I am not a fan of is that it isn't too fast. It does bake well, but does take some extra time, and I dont feel the air fry does great. I believe this issue is due to the very visible gap between the unit and the door. Heat definitely escapes from that. Definitely a manufacturing flaw in this model there, because it does render air fry useless, and adds unnecessary cooking time. Unfortunately, I dont have time to return the unit. FORTUNATELY, I'm happy enough that it does the main duty I needed it for well enough that its still a favorite little appliance! It also fits on my kitchen storage shelf after use. Instructions are very easy, so I was confused why that was a common complaint. Controls are very simple, and clear to understand. Its also not noisy, and has a nice little "ding" when complete (havent forgotten a serving of nuggets in this thing yet!).

Good oven. Pay attention while toasting. ๐
This item has been very efficient and handy. It gets as hot as promised, not something Iโve come to expect from toaster ovens. The timer is accurate. Toast has to be managed, due to the high heat. The results can be spotty, and itโs easy to burn it, but if I pay attention & move the toast a bit & take it out in time itโs fine. It goes pretty fast, & itโs worth it to have a toaster that really is also an oven.

Always clean & tidy!
LOVE this design bc the door opens UP and out of the way for crumbs and food droppings. This means you never have to clean the door!!! BAM! Thank you very much - just what I was looking for . . . AND it works great too. This equals perfection!

Ease of use, capacity, excellent price.
Okay so it took me a minute to figure out how to work it. The instructions would probably be my biggest hang up with this toaster oven. Once I got that figured out I was actually able to use the aluminum pans that they sell at Sam's Club around the holidays and you know they're made for side dishes to take the people's homes or whatever it is that you're doing for Christmas or Thanksgiving or whatever it is you celebrate, anyhow I was able to fit six chicken breasts in there and bake them in that toaster oven that aluminum pan fit perfectly slid right in there and just because of the size I usually bake a little longer but they cooked temperature and time perfect as if I were using my gas oven. So no Burns no dried out no nothing that I didn't want. I was very very pleased also pizzas have come out excellent I haven't tried the air fryer yet, but I will. I had an old Black & Decker that was 28 years old it still works but the glass shattered the cords been repaired more than once and this thing just won't quit. I'm beginning to think with the glass gone and the fact that you can still plug it in you could actually take it you know camping with you and make some cheese garlic bread or whatever you want to do with that thing if you've got power to plug it in if it stops working it goes in the trash can. But anyhow my point is so I got 28 years out of that Black & Decker when the door opened it had these little hooks that pulled the inside rack out with it to keep you from getting burned. The Hamilton Beach is very similar. The rack doesn't pull out but with the lid lifting up and over the entire unit half of that rack is sticking out so you can remove whatever it is you have in there without burning yourself. I have been pleasantly pleased with everything I've pulled out of there so far. If there's any issues I'll post it but as of right now it was a good choice. If they're going to let you make three payments of 30 bucks that means most people can afford it and if you've got a family you can cook for a family and your toaster oven and not heat up the whole darn house.

Wonโt hold temperature
** update July 19, 2024 . Iโve uploaded a video showing that this oven cannot hold its temperature. I am so bummed out that I missed the return date by three days. Iโm going to still see if I can get my money back or get a replacement ** Have not had it for long have not tried all of the features. I did buy an oven thermometer to see if it is true to the setting. Iโll update my review later. I mean, come on Hamilton Beach get it together. I think most of us would pay an extra five dollars to have a longer cord. It is so stinking short. Make sure you clean the air fryer basket as soon as it cools down otherwise it could start to look like, well pretty grungy. I fortunately have one of those wire brushes that people use for their outdoor grill. I managed to keep it looking really nice. I think it would be all right to line the baking tray with foil. They just donโt want you to line the bottom crumb tray with foil. So if you or somebody whoโs really anal about keeping these types of appliances clean donโt wait too long before you clean them, otherwise forget it the quality of the baking tray isnโt top-notch. Also, when youโre closing the door look at the bottom because thereโs something like a little rubber stoppers I donโt know how to describe it, but you want to make sure the door sort of sits in that rubber part. The manual does not give you any recipes or suggestions. it does tell you what you need to use the air fryer function. The timer knob has two little buttons on each side so you want to squeeze those in and then turn the timer button and make sure you go past 10 minutes and then turn it back if you only need for examples five minutes. Again, I do plan to bake some cookies in the near future and Iโll test the oven temperature to see how accurate it is.

Toaster but no air fryer
Itโs really a toaster oven. That part works great. Love how the door lifts open. As for the air fryer function, not so great. I thought it would just take some getting used to. But it never browns or crisps the food. Even if you leave it in longer, the food just dries out. I was hoping to only have to have one appliance on my counter. But now I still need an air fryer.

I hope it lasts forever!
Hamilton Beach has been a reliable source for small applications in my home for as long as I can remember, so I knew I could expect quality. My old toaster oven was a tiny 4-slice with limited options and the timer was on the fritz. It was time for a new one. I wanted something bigger, with lots of options. When I saw this easy-open door, I was intrigued. Firstly, this is MUCH bigger than the one I had before. Truly a 6-slice as advertised! It has a rounded back wall so you could even fit a standard frozen pizza in it. Secondly, the door. OHHHH the door. It swings so easily, so smoothly, so... WOW. Its a feature I never knew I needed. I cant imagine ever going back to a standard swing-down hatch. This is magical, and so nice for those with limited counter space. It also allows easy access and reduces the chances of burning myself while reaching in to grab food. The toast feature toasts BEAUTIFULLY. I cant remember the last time I had a bagel as evenly toasted as this. My old one would typically burn one side. With this toaster oven, my bagel came out evenly toasted with no burnt edges/spots. I just baked some southern style chicken strips and it baked through perfectly. Once again, the heat was distributed evenly, and the basket ensured no cold spots. Delicious! The basket itself perfect fits one box of frozen chicken strips or nuggets. Oh, and another thing. My old toaster had the catch tray on a hinge, which meant carefully wiping it down by hand, and made burnt-on foods impossible to remove. This one has the built-on base, but the catch tray sits just inside and is easily removed to be fully submersed and washed in the sink. If you need a new toaster oven, this one is what you need. It is worth every penny!

The good and the bad. what i like and what i hate
this is my second one i have bought, the first one in 2021: the timer stopped working a few weeks after the warranty expired. which is 5 years. the PROS; 5 years is a long warranty and customer service responded very quickly. when it worked it was a great little oven and the only one i could find with a roll top door, which for my kitchen space is a must. i donโt have to reach over a hot door to pull things out the CONS; it is very noisy though! the timer on the last one and on this one makes a lot of noise while running and the bell when the timer is done is also very loud. the fan for the air fryer is also quite loud when it is working. the drip tray that catches the grease stains very easily and after one use is already looking a mess,,, i wish they would make it out of stainless steel like the rest of the unit. it is unsightly even at only a week old and even after scrubbing with a wire pad is still looking pretty bad.

Great Toaster Oven
Bought this to replace our old toaster oven that crapped out. It works well on all the settings, we've cooked all kind of things in this little oven, it fits a frozen pizza in it no problem. We found you have pre heat it up like a regular oven, once it gets up to temp it cooks and air frys at the times recommended on the food packages, if you don't preheat it, it will obviously take longer to cook stuff in it.
