This compressor is perfect for my needs, and I keep a close eye on my tire pressure, so I use it often. I really appreciate the auto shut-off feature, the long cord in both directions, the internal light, and its light weight, it's easy to handle and move around, and so far, has been working almost perfectly. (Once in a while, it won't work right, so I have to unplug it from the 12V outlet, and plug it back in). I can set the pressure, and it keeps it internally, until I decide to change it.

This little air compressor actually managed to exceed my expectations. I was not expecting to be able to air up my tire - from flat - 3 days in a row.I noticed I had a slow leak in my tire, and of the many tools and gadgets I own, a portable air compressor was not among them. I live in a rural area, plus general life-getting-in-the-way stuff prevented me from getting an immediate fix. Amazon to the rescue.The compressor itself is very lightweight and has convenient storage solutions for the main hose and the power cable. The display is simple and easy to understand once you have read the instructions, and the included (albiet tiny) switch-operated spotlight is adequate. The pressure hose seems sturdy and solid enough, though I am no judge of automotive gear.DC outlet required, which I plugged in after I started up my car. Set this guy to 35lbs, plugged it in, popped the compressor hose head on the tire gasket, and locked it in place. Flipped a switch and let nature take it's course.It took my tire from flat (car said 8lbs) to 35 lbs in under 5 minutes, which I find acceptable for a unit this tiny. Like, it's much smaller than it seems in the pictures.Had to do this twice more for the following 2 days when I finally managed to bring 'er in for new tires. This little compressor performed exactly the same way every time, and although it did get a little warm, it seemed to do it's job well. I'm gonna keep this in my SUV.

We pumped up 4 car tires recently, and it works quickly and does the job very well. It is noisier than I expected. It is louder than the old one that I used to have, that just wore out from frequent use this past winter. This is a good portable air compressor and will be easy to use. It has a very good plug, which looks like it will help it to stay connected with it's power source. It has extra features that we haven't tried yet, such as a light, and extra alternative "nozzles" to attach to things other than car tires.

I finally had a reason to use this portable air compressor when I discovered a slow leak in a rear tire and needed to bring it from 7 psi up to 37 psi. I really appreciated the digital pressure readout as soon as I connected it, and being able to watch the pressure climb in real time while it inflated. That is much better than constantly switching between the compressor and a separate air gauge.It did take a few minutes to add about 30 psi, but that feels perfectly reasonable for a compact, portable unit. The best part was doing it in the comfort of my garage instead of squatting at a gas station in 2 degree weather.It was also very straightforward to plug in and run, and I feel confident I could use it while parked at a rest area, or even on the shoulder of the road if I ever had to. Overall, it is an easy, practical tool to keep in the car for peace of mind.

Well color me impressed...this replaced a 10 year old (slim) that worked great until it didnt.I have a tire that has a slow leak that frequently has to be re upped.Hooked this baby up this morning,read 23lbs up to 34 (back lit display)...not even a hint of a sign its out of gas.Turned off automatically.Another nice thing is the inflator nozzle is easy to put on and off,you dont have to wrestle it off the tire to remove.Sweet...great buy for a no frills Quality unit.👍

Updated post.Received feedback a timely reply from site support. They ask me to try running the pump disconnected from the valve. I did this on 10/19/2024 and the pump worked as it was designed. I reduced the tire pressure on 4 wheels and set the pump to 35 lbs. It pumped each tire up the selected pressure and then used a separate tire gage to confirm the tires were at 35 lbs.The unit worked properly so will keep this pump handy for future use. Support was very polite and offered to refund or replace the unit I originally received but have decided to keep it and update my review from 2 stars to 5 stars.Original post 10/15/24 Question for other owners. Mixed review on day 1 in using this product. I did read the entire English manual. This involves car 1, car 2 and an emergency spare tire. Car 1 topped off 4 tires ranging from 31 to 33.5 lbs to 36 pounds, and unit worked without issue. This took less than 5 minutes. All four tires received 36 lbs and unit stopped at 36 lbs. Went to car number 2 and tires needed to be at 35 lbs. Topped off tires ranging from 31 to 34 and first tire was pumped to 35, next 3 tires the pump stopped at 34.5 lbs. It would not pump the last 3 tires to 35 lbs, which is what it was set at. Then the emergency spare was to be ad 60 lbs and it originally showed it had 40 lbs. I adjusted the pump to go to 60 lbs and it would not go above 34.5 lbs. I know I changed the setting to go to 60 but I needed a bicycle pump to get it to 60 lbs. All of this activity took less than 15 minutes. The unit was just slightly warm, not at all hot. Has this happened to any of you? If not, I think I will need to return it.

This is so easy to use, quick and effective! I pumped my Prius tires in less than two minutes (they were at 30 psi and went up to the recommended 35/36 psi). The use it’s super easy (just stick the plug in your car outlet) and you are golden. If you have ever used the newer gas station pumps that are electronic this is exactly the same and in my experience it is nearly as fast. I started to pump one tire and went around the car taking out the valve caps of the other tires. I didn’t even get to the other three tires that the first tire was done. It is very easy to move around and I have never had to wait on it (always busy unscrewing and putting back the valve caps).Also, it is a small , low profile unit. In my Prius I put it under the driver seat and it fits great (without taking away leg / feet space).I ordered the red one and in retro spect I should have ordered the yellow one. This is going to be on the pavement and if you are doing this on a busy street you may want to other drivers to see it. However, I put it as close as possible to my car (or under it) and it worked ok. If it is 3-5 inches sticking out, it is going to be ok.Great product. Just buy it!

This compressor is so easy to use. I purchased for my home use and keep it in the truck of my car for emergencies and convenient storage. I needed to add air to my bicycle tire and a neighbor had one of these. The speed and convenience of pumping up my bike tires sold me on the idea. Once I received the air compressor I pumped up the completely flat tires on my hand truck. As instructions directed, checked the side of the tire to find the required pressure, entered that 30 PSI into the compressor, hooked up the fill tube and turned it on. It filled the tire exactly to the requested pressure and turned off automatically. No guessing or trying to hit the number. I was surprised that it even had a built in LED light that allowed me to highlight the tire and find the suggested pressure required. Great invention and I am sure I will get years of service when I need it. I recommend this for anyone with air pressure needs around the house. Comes with additional fill adapters for sports balls or inflatable pool toys/floats. Very compact unit which you can forget about until it is needed. You do need a cigarette/power outlet in your vehicle to use it.

Llegó cuando me lo programaron y iba en su caja perfectamente.Lo he utilizado de momento en 6 ruedas. Tengo también el inflador , desde hace más de dos años, pequeño de Michelín 009518 Mini compresor digital para coche de 12 V, 3,5 bares1- No sé cual será la duración por lo que esta parte no puede ser analizada.2- Es ruidoso pero no escandaloso como el Michelín.3- Infla 4 veces más rápido que el Michelín (según fabricante unos 22l minuto contra 7 del Mini Michelín)4- Teóricamente tarda el doble de tiempo en calentarse y desactivarse, en la practica inflando ligeramente 4 ruedas no se había calentado el Michelín esta super caliente al limite.5- Se desconecta solo al llegar a la presión señalada, el otro debes de pararlo tú al superar en 0.05 lo que deseas.6- Tiene el cable eléctrico algo más largo y el tubo de aire es de 50cm (contra 10/12) por tanto más fácil de usar.7- Puede llenar ruedas de alta presión pues alcanza teóricamente los 11 bares (3.5 el otro a unos 3.6 se desactiva).8- El Michelín es mucho más compacto mide algo menos de la mitad cabe en cualquier rincón.9-El Michelín tiene puerto de conexión USB para cargar otros dispositivos mientras está conectado, el Astro Ai no tiene eso pero tiene una practica linterna incorporada.En definitiva Michelín 009518 Mini es un inflador que funciona cabe incluso en la guantera y te sacará de un apuro y te ahorrará el tener que ir a una gasolinera y pagar casi seguro por inflar. Te da la presión correcta y te infla las pocas décimas que te falten.Pero si necesitas inflar una rueda casi entera, o necesitas inflar varias o tienes enchufado en un coche e inflas otra cosa como un remolque, o te molesta el ruido excesivo, o necesitas inflar un poco ruedas de alta presión o grandes, entonces sabiendo que no ocupa mucho pero en la guantera no creo que quepa este Astro Ai es más interesante. Ojo el Astroi tampoco sirve para llenar de aire desde cero varias ruedas se calentaría en exceso, pero si puede hacerlo con una, cosa que el Michelín no puede se calienta mucho y se apaga antes.

Brilliant piece of kit. Easy to use and a life saver nowadays as cars often don't get supplied with a spare wheel. You plug it into the cigarette lighter socket and the engine needs to be running to use it. Quick tip - If you are using it on an automatic car - you might need to switch over to manual to keep the engine running while you are out of the drivers seat.

Arbeitet sehr gut. Könnte vielleicht etwas schneller sein, aber wenn man glegentlich etwas Luft nahfüllt, reicht es. Für den Preis hatte ich das nicht erwartet.
