Chateau Collection Escutcheon Replacement for Moen 16090, for One-Handle Tub and Shower Faucets, Chrome

I bought this to replace a decades-old Moen unit which had flaking chrome plating. This is clearly very good quality and fits in place very well. Highly polished, it complements the other chrome accessories very well. It has a compressible rubber seal on the back which prevents water from leaking behind and possibly into the faucet and/or wall. The stainless steel screws are well made and more than sufficiently long to clamp it securely in place. Overall, I am very pleased with this high quality replacement.

Purchased almost 2 years ago and still looks good the shower it went in is used most every day and it still cleans off nice and looks great.

This size is hard to find in my local stores. This arrived on time in great condition and does exactly what its intended.

This is not an exact replica of the original but it fits nicely and it’s shiny.

Replaced original Moen trim plate in fraternity house shower room. Once the knob and original plate were removed, it went on easily. Perfect fit. Appears to be of good quality. Only time will tell if it wears well, no corrosion, etc.

I was having great trouble finding a replacement of the Stanadyne faceplate on our shower faucet. The measurements did not exist or were only roughly close. The holes are exactly 1.100 inches from center to center and fit perfectly. See my calipers in the photo. The gaskets on the inside are pre-adhered and were also perfectly applied. If your Stanadyne faceplate screws are 1.10 inch (28.0 mm) center to center and 7 inches in diameter, this is highly likely to fit.

Did you know if your plate cracks it is extremely difficult to find a replacement? Generally, you’d have to buy a whole new shower set for $150.00. The was a fabulous find. It might seem expensive, but not available in any stores we visited and very easy to install. We are buying a second one.

Fit perfect and has been on for over a year and the finish is still good.

This is as good a quality as the original.Changed from the original brass (gold) and it fit perfect.The only thing I wish came with it was the sleeve that goes in the centre as I went from gold to chrome.Other than that perfect.
