Clean & Close Rechargeable Men's Foil Shaver

Bought this for my teenage son who has just started shaving and he absolutely loves it. Gives him the shave he wants without being rough on the skin. One of my better buys and will start using it myself.

This gives me a clean, close shave every time, with no irritation. It's not too noisy, comfortable in the hand, and does it's job very well. The battery last a long time and doesn't need recharging very often. I was a Remington user for many years, but this Wahl shaver excells.

The shaver itself is excellent—it provides a consistently smooth and close shave. I did recently experience an issue where the battery required recharging after only 2–3 uses, but Wahl’s customer service was fantastic. They stepped in immediately and resolved the problem swiftly.

Good quality, good shave and holds a charge for weeks.

Needed a shaver quickly, and this arrived at 9 the next morning. They don't make the Braun series One anymore so took a chance on the Wahl. So glad I did, battery life is great, solidly made and a very close shave indeed. And also a great price.

First of all I would like to say that the battery life is excellent on this shaver 👍. As as for the shaving it does a ok job but far from perfect because I need to go back over my face a lot of times to try and get it smooth and even then you still find some small rough parts where the shaver misses to get a close shave. It's not awful and it does the job ok but not brilliantly so just be prepared to keep going over the same area a few times for a acceptable smoothness and sometimes I just go over quickly the small parts where it's missed with a dry disposable razor.

I was surprised at how good this shaver is for the price. There does seem to be two different models here under the same set of reviews. The red one is more expensive but has a side trimer. I purchased the cheaper blue model without a trimmer. (Regardless of the trimmer, to two model look quite different.) I have struggled to find a decent shaver in recent years and most seem to take ages to get anywhere near a close shave. I've had many Brauns that have all been rubbish. But this Wahl really does a quick good job. You can feel and hear it cut as it goes. It is so much better than my £179 Series 9 Braun ! Also, from the new, the charge lasts two weeks, shaving twice a day. One key point is, when buying a new foil shaver, alwasy check to see how much the replacment foils/cutters are. I just retired my Remington that cost £16 for a new foil/cutter. I think these Wahl shaver seem to have reasonably priced spares. I did want to try a Panasonic shaver, but they rip you off with over priced foils at around £40 on a shaver that only costs about £80.

Ok, so my wahl clean and close plus arrived, I was disappointed to find there was zero charge in it when I opened the box, but hey that's no big deal, so I charged it up, pressed the button and it fired up, THIS IS MY FIRST ELECTRIC SHAVER, AS IVE ALWAYS HAD A WET SHAVE AND USED A SAFETY RAZOR. But being a truck driver and being away most of the week it was a convenience decision, I was really surprised how close the shave was after using the wahl , I'm really impressed with it, yes it's a little noisy but that's not a problem, the reason for 4 stars is because ....there is no option to charge on the go via USB , which is disappointing in this day and age, and THE PRECISION TRIMMER ATTACHMENT IS A WASTE OF TIME, I like long sideburns and bought this shaver because it includes a precision trimmer, seriously, if you want a shaver just to shave, then buy it, but if you want to use a precision trimmer do not buy it, because you will be disappointed.

La maquina va bien aunque necesito varias pasos para cortar el pelo bien. La bateria dura bastante bien. El precio es competitivo. En suma, precio ajustado, funcionamiento adequado.

Cannot fault this razor. Gives a smoother shave than any of my previous electric razors and is very good value for money as well. Easy to clean and hold its charge for numerous shaves. Recommended.

Après beaucoup d'hésitation, je teste un rasoir électrique. Wahl parce que la marque m'est connue comme étant de qualité. Le rasoir est effectivement plutôt qualitatif, après l'adaptation de ma peau il rase plutôt pas mal (attention pas aussi bien qu'une lame), et permet d'être rasé correctement assez vite. Le sans fil me permet de l'avoir sur le bureau et de faire une retouche rapide dans la journée. Je n'ai pas encore testé sa résistance à l'eau.
