SBB 400-3 Parquet Twister Floorbrush for Hard Floors

I am an avid vacuumer. With four cats tracking litter around non-stop, I have to vacuum almost every day. I have been using the basic head attachment that came with my Miele C1 canister vacuum that was suitable for both carpets and hardwood floors. Little did I know how much time and precious energy I was wasting pushing around that clunky, squeaky vacuum head when I could be operating something as light as a Swiffer. I am truly amazed by how much time and energy this hardwood-floor-specific vacuum head will save me. It’s a simple design that works. I find that the XL is so nimble that I can reach into any crevice I could with the regular sized standard head, and for spots I can’t reach I just slip it off and use the hose itself. Plus the size is big enough that I can cover so much more surface area in half the time. Honestly I am not kidding! Using my Miele with this vacuum head is even easier, faster, and less labor intensive than a Swiffer! And, it of course provides a much better clean. The design of the vacuum head is perfect for those with cats and the constant battle of cat litter. The spaces in between the bristles are big enough for litter to enter with either a forward push of the vacuum, or a pull back. This was never the case with my previous vacuum head. I was constantly having to tap the vacuum head around the litter to make sure they were actually going up and not just getting moved around. TLDR; I am floored!!! This is going to be a game-changer to my daily vacuum routine and save me so much time and so many precious calories that can be spent doing something else. Best purchase in a long time — can’t believe it took me so long.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! I am a clean freak. Vacuuming every other day. We have hardwood floors throughout the entire house. We had to replace our old Miele vacuum recently and I absolutely hated the original attachment that came with it. It was bulky, mainly plastic with only a bit of brush which was almost impossible to clean. I was very reluctant to spend $60 dollars on a new brush and was considering cheaper knock offs. I am so happy I went with original Miele though! This brush is absolutely AMAZING!! It's lightweight, it's wide and it rotates so easily that you can vacuum between table and chair legs without a need to move anything. Another absolutely awesome thing is that you can also clean the trim with it. Normally I would have to switch to a different attachment. With this brush I don't have to do it anymore. Just lifting it up and putting against the wall. Slides easily along the trim. Seriously, money WELL SPENT! Thank you! ( and yes, I did just get excited about the vacuum brush! 😄)

Flexible and does the job. I’d replaced a broken one with a generic model. Fought with the thing for several months, hated how it handled. Miele product is a world of difference. Easier to use and a bit wider, with softer brushes.

I gotta say this thing works great. Expensive for what you get, yes, but it makes vacuuming my hardwood floor much faster and more effective than with the All-Teq attachment that came with my Miele. I now vacuum my floor more often because it is such a breeze with this attachment. Update: I still like it a lot, and find myself vacuuming my hardwood floor a lot more often because it's so simple and fast. But I am a bit annoyed that it's now selling for $80 when I paid $100 a few weeks ago. Is there any help from this, from Amazon or even Miele?

Holy moly! This vacuum attachment is WONDERFUL! I just got the classic Miele C1 and used it for the first time this morning with this XL parquet twister; and I couldn’t be more impressed. The XL size makes vacuuming a breeze. I saw another reviewer say that it’s like using a swiffer on hardwood floors - and they were right! It’s light, and takes on corners super easily. You can even clean baseboards with it! I have two dogs that shed like crazy and it cleaned up the fur no problem. My floors have never felt so clean! Now for the not so great part - this would have been a 5 star product if the price reflected what you actually get. Plastic. $90 for a vacuum attachment is very steep, especially for plastic and I just can’t get myself to look past it no matter how good the attachment actually is. $40-$60 is more the price range I see this fitting in. I am not including durability in this review as I have only used it once, but I can confidently say that if you take care of it, it should last a while.

If you are debating buying this, click purchase and allow your cleaning life to improve exponentially. It's worth every penny. Vacuum in half the time and it bends to reach all the difficult area and corners. This is a 10.

After spending what seemed like an interminable number of hours trying to decipher which Miele canister set-up would work best for my mostly bare wood floors, I finally decided to just go for it. I went cheap - the S2 Olympus. Along with that, I ordered the SBB400-3 XL Parquet Twister Floor Tool. It is a fantastic combination! Astonishingly so, which says a lot about something as mundane as the routine chore of vacuuming. First of all (and if you're reading this, then you probably already know), every Miele canister is essentially the same, in terms of power and size. You're just paying more or less money for different attachments. So, logically, I figured, the cheapest canister and the best wood floor attachment should equal the best, most expensive vacuum Miele has to offer for my needs. Maybe I'm wrong about that, but now I'll never feel the need to find out. The Twister is the most effective vacuum tool I've ever used, on bare floors or otherwise. It does an amazing job; it's much faster and far more thorough than my old, but half-decent, Hoover canister. I was nervous, when I took the Twister out of the box, that it would be too big, too unwieldy for my little house and all the things in it. But this thing is remarkable. Because it can swivel on several different axes effortlessly, it reaches around legs, under the couch and in corners as well as anything half it's size. It's made my vacuuming so much faster, and, honestly, far cleaner than before. Living in a beachy area with a long haired Aussie shepherd can test my patience; no matter how scrupulously I vacuumed with the old Hoover, sand always seemed to manage to reappear five minutes later, even with a clean dog. This new set-up really gets the grit up, and fast. The Olympus comes with a good-enough rug attachment, which I use on my one small area rug. But the Twister has made a very good vacuum cleaner a truly great one. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase, and highly recommend the XL Parquet Twister.

OEM works great!

Standard vacuum tools are fine, but this is the one to get for hard floors. The extra width of this tool allows much faster and efficient coverage of larger areas. Also good with short-pile carpet, with minor extra effort. 3-D pivoting head for reaching under furniture (never seen this feature before on other brands) and it's a genuine Miele fitting.

If you have hard floors as we do in our kitchen, this Miele attachment is the product to have. It works effortlessly and seems to glide without much friction over hard surfaces and even reaches dust and the like along skirting boards and the edges of kitchen units. With the 2 way neck it is easy to work in and around chair and table legs, and it collects our dog hair with no drama whatsoever, simply hoover the brush edge off at the end. The added width makes the job a lot faster and it is still very lightweight. Pleased as punch with this product, exactly what you would expect from Miele, not cheap but well thought out product.
