purchased the 6ft standard wide option for my 17 lb Jack Russell. very sturdy and looks like it will hold up for years to come. I would purchase again. I don't like the retractable leashes. I find the standard ones actually easier to control. When I have two dogs, I use a carabiner to link one long and one shorter leash together.

I mainly bought this leash because it matched the collar i bought perfectly. Now i can say that this leash is very bright when hit with a light. It keeps my pup and i safe. I love the padding on the handle and it is strong, also love the length. I feel as pups should have a good amount of leash room 6ft is the best in my opinion.

This is a good leash. Feels right in my hands. I like the metal parts even. Wrote mfg about the tear and the NEXT DAY the emailed me back! Sending me a replacement. That felt good! We also Love my dog's collar from the same company. Custom tag built into the collar. Cool

Whenever I purchase anything on Amazon, the first thing I do is look at all of the 1 and 2 star reviews. What I'm actually checking, is to see if the same complaints come up on a product over and over again. This is a good indication that there is a potential problem. Usually, this makes me just scroll on and look for something else. But in this case, I could tell that these leashes might actually work well for me, as my dogs are A: trained to not pull on a leash, B: They are taught that they are not allowed to be reactive to other dogs, squirrels and other stimuli, putting overdue stress on a leash, and C: They are trained to come while off leash so if this leash should break, my dog is not in danger. IF you are someone who trains to these standards, these are great leashes! If not, you might want to continue your search for a very strong leash mostly based on some of the reviews.I can't attest to durability yet, but the two leashed that I got seem to be very sturdy. The reflective thread is on BOTH sides of my leases. There have been complaints that this is not always the case so I'm not sure that everyone who orders this leash is actually getting the same thing.As for the complaints that your dog chewed through this leash...any dog can chew through any leash if you allow it. The only dogs that get a free pass on this are puppies who have not yet developed impulse control and who have not been taught to leave their leashes alone. Adult dogs should know better through good training.The handles on these leashes are very comfortable. I will continue to use them until/unless there is a reason to stop. But right now, for a well trained dog, I would recommend this product.

This leash is VERY well made and even has a padded handle for ME! The reflective stitching portion is a wonderful safety feature for my pet. Good job!

Sharp looking leash at a great price. Although we've only had it a short time it appears to be well constructed and should hold up well.
