Beast
Best of the best. 70kg is for office guys who do not go to the fitness center and need some occasional office exercise. 80 and 90kg are for stronger guys. This metal baby is a hefty piece of very solid iron and I doubt that this will ever break. It's adjustable (not the strength) but the wide grip is adjustable with the small metal notch on top. So short fingers or long piano fingers do not matter. Sweet. It's a bit heavy but comfortable tool that looks cool on your office desk. I am a skinny guy (140lb) and I am using only the first 2 levels (20 and 30kg) and it's enough for me. I can squeeze the maximum set of 70kg but only once with extreme effort. I would recommend it despite the price since i honestly think this is a lifetime toy that will never break.

A good reliable well built hand gripper
Product built well and sturdy, easy to adjust. I find the handles a bit hard on the hands. Could have a softer material for the price.

Best grip exerciser I’ve ever had!
I want to begin by saying that I’m a very simple individual and through the course of my lifetime so far I’ve had maybe around a dozen grip exercisers , and I think I’ve reached the pinnacle with this particular model. It has the best mechanism, the smoothest action as you can see, with a little silicon tape, it can go a long way. As you’ve noticed, I went ahead with the GD 70 because I really didn’t see the necessity of paying extra for a metal handle that I was ultimately going to wrap as well as having ordered the finger exerciser which they adamantly told me I could not use or could not be installed on these models however, with a little ingenuity, and by using just a little shorter screws, and what came with the finger grip assembly Which is an M 6–1.0 50 mm bolt with a socket head of course it worked out fine and in addition it actually works as a stand which was another concern for not having wanting to pay $95 for something that’s only 40 pounds more at the highest level. If I get to that point, I probably won’t need a hand exerciser. I’ll just be flying around with a cape like a superhero!

Solid
Pretty solid device. Nothing much to complain about. Sturdy and the grip feel is nicer than the conventional steel grippers. Design is great and the adjustability is also a plus.

Well Designed
More expensive than other grip strengtheners but I am willing to pay for quality. As a retired mechanical engineer, I like to scrutinize other peoples designs. This product is very well designed and durable. It also has some clever design aspects. Also, with the load spread between dual compression springs I don't think spring failure will be an issue. The only negative is the handles are not particularly comfortable. This is easily fixed by adding some grip tape. I used Core Prodigy Fusion Grip Tape which so far seems to be a good product as well. I'll have to see how this tape holds up over time but it does stick to itself well and makes the gripper much better. Best to remove the handle with a 5mm hex key to make the application of the tape easier.

A quality purchase.
Works well with my medium-sized hands. High quality, well-constructed, may outlast me. The handles are rough. I will get used to them, and if not, the other option is to turn them 180 degrees. I don't see this as a problem. I am pleased with my purchase.

Well made, Had weight indicator, pinches your hand and works out 2 fingers very well
this is like one of those old companies that has been around with a brand name that everyone recognzies but they rest on their brand recognition without offering newer features. Here's the issue.. this hurts my skin between the thumb and for-finger because with this design the hand slides up to the top and it's like using a pair of pliars, ever got your hand caught in the sharp part of the pliars that close? These are old timey designs. There are other models that handle the ergonomics better so that each finger has the same pressure applied. Notice when you squeeze it's mostly just your pointer and index finger applying most of the force. There is one redeeming quality with this one,.. well a few.. it's made well. It's also allows you to see the weight indicator your setting it at, not just some arbitrary resistance dial, which is good if your a weight lifter trying to track your progress... which seems like a very basic need for a weight machine. do I recommend it, ABSOLUTELY, if you're ok with getting your hand pinched and only exercising a few of your fingers in your grip. I totally recommend if you like that!

Great quality, just doesn’t meld well
Excellent materials, but smooth surface is a bit awkward. I feel like I will drop it at some point and create a sharp edge. I decided to put on grip tape and like it less now, but it won’t slip out of my hands. I wish the lb increments were more gradual not every 22 lbs ?? Still should last a long time. I bring it on my work commutes on forearm day in combo with finger stretcher for opposite muscle movements. I don’t understand the weight ratings of these; a spring will increase opposing force as it is squeezed tighter so the force would look like a hill on a graph.

Worth buying. It helps with other things too like sciatica pain in your fore-/arms.
I got this one along with another one from the same supplier. On top of that, based on other reviews regarding the grip discomfort, I got matching handle grips from JEEZAO Store (ASIN: B07QNJ434Y and ASIN: B09FLH2JTN) made out of Bamboo Sponge. Those Jezao foam grips are very grippy, do not slide off the handles on both Hand Grips. They are the same length (~10cm) as both GD hand grip Straighteners. Now, they are tricky to put on. The way you do it is by putting them on like an inch in and then gently start tapping on a flat surface as if you were using the GD grip as a rubber mallet. The bamboo sponge will naturally allow the metal grips to slide all the way in. Trying to do it by hand only won't work. I have long fingers so my gip is not affected by those sponge grips always on. For people with smaller fingers, it might be problematic. I use these GD grips to strengthen my grip before going to the gym. It also helps with my sciatica pain on the left side of my body when it affects the muscles in my left forearm due to shooting pain coming from my leg. It's indeed a well-made product. Worth investing in long-term.
