So far impressed.
Absolute unit. Currently have the Thermo 600 set up for my 75 Gal and itโs doing an amazing job. Easy to set up, the priming function works like a charm. Integral heater has kept it at a constant 78 degrees at multiple tested spots in the tank.Pre filter is easy to clean and one of the big reasons I got it.The supplied media is a bit lacking. I purchase several boxes of eheim bio and mech media to fill it up as itโs basically just foam and plastic balls that float and are a pain. Kept one foam at the bottom, eheim mech in the second and then three trays of eheim substrat (one level is from my old filter to jump start), top tray is filter floss and a carbon pad for right now (new tank set up).Switched from an Eheim classic and really like the ease of cleaning this filter compared the old green bucket. Really like the built in heater. Makes the tank look much cleaner. The filter is a heavy beast to take out when itโs full of media and water. The handle on top is robust enough though so it shouldnโt be an issue.

Effortless filtration and crystal clear water
This is the greatest aquarium filter ever! Iโve tried other styles and brands. I now own (3) of these.1) the integrated heater is great and eliminates having it the tank 2) the pre-filter makes routine maintenance a dream to complete 3) the flow rate is fantastic 4) the ability to customize the media trays is a huge plusI run heavy planted and stocked tanks. The OASE filter exceeds my expectations!

Best canister filter on the market and hereโs why
This is basically the only canister filter on the market that has a pre-filter (that I know of) which makes it unique in that it is easy to maintain. I rotate between two sets of pre-filters sponges and have had no issues so far.The filter also houses an internal heater which helps remove unnecessary equipment from taking up space or looking unsightly in a mimalistic planted setup. Finally, this filter comes with a lock/unlocking mechanism which effectively shuts off the flow and this eliminates the need for additional quick disconnects that are commonly used by aquarists.Forgot to mention that priming this canister filter is a breeze-no tanks to drinking tank water.

Nice filter but expensive
i have a 350 thermal on our 36 gallon and a 600 thermal on our 75 gallon. The prefilter feature is great and i love the heater in the filter. Both filters are with sponges in bottom tray and biohome in the rest of the trays. The flow on the 36 gallon with 350 thermal is excellent the 75 gallon with biomaster thermal 600 i wish had a little more flow. Both filters are going through a uv sterilizer on the out line. Heater seems to work perfectly on both units. i had an issue getting the rubber feet to stay on the 600 but other than that and wishing for more flow on the 75 gallon. i am happy with both units. Tip if your impeller is rattling you most likely have water in the head take some water out of the canister and restart it. Both units are very, almost dead quiet make the units perfect for a bedroom. I recommend replacing the 60ppi pre filter sponges with the 40ppi replacements seems to help a little with flow. Over all the biomasters are good filters.

Best Canister I've ever owned
The pre-filter and the built in heater both make this lightyears ahead of any other canister filter. So easy to maintain, and very quiet, other than the occasional air burp.Only criticism, is that the GPH is measurably lower than the spec indicates. I wouldn't use this for anything bigger than a 90 gallon aquarium despite what the packaging tells you. I didn't knock a star off for this, only because this is something that seems to be true of all filters.
