As an Oregonian who moved to the dry climate of Colorado, my skin took a serious hit. After 27 years in the wet pacific northwest, I was desperate for relief from the dryness. I'd never used a humidifier before, but this little device has truly been a game changer for me, and I will be singing its praises!First, I love the VeSync App it comes with! It not only alerts me when it’s time to clean the humidifier to prevent mold and mildew, but also keeps track of the humidity levels in my room. This feature alone has made managing my environment so much easier. The auto mode is my absolute favorite; I simply set my desired humidity percentage, and it automatically adjusts to maintain that level. Plus, being able to control it from my phone, even when I’m away from home, is wildly cool. I was skeptical about wifi-enabled devices, but now I can’t imagine living without this feature.The price is very reasonable for the quality you get, and I appreciate how quiet it is—especially important for me as someone with autism who is sensitive to sound. My skin has finally started to recover, which is a huge relief. While the essential oil section isn’t something I personally use, I can see how it would be a lovely addition for others who enjoy aromatherapy.Super thrilled with my purchase and will definitely be exploring more products from LEVOIT in the future. If you’re dealing with dry air, I highly suggest giving this humidifier a try!

Very nice. Without the app keeps the room at 45 to 50% humidity. You can adjust the mist level. Downloading the app allows you to set the desired humidity level, and gives a lot of info.Would buy again, even without the app, if you're not into that.Easy to clean but using distilled water reduces the need for that.

We live in S.E. Arizona so humidity is typically very low except during monsoon season. Local power company suggested adding humidity to help keep the air in the room warmer as well as running ceiling fans counter clockwise. Both supposedly help keep the power bill down. I got it specifically for our living room.The unit is nice and runs very quietly and I think it's a quality piece of gear. It does use a lot of water and you need to run distilled water thru it not just tap water (ours is brutally hard anyway). So unless you invest in a home water distiller you'll be buying lots of bottles of distilled water. It adds up quickly at a buck + / gallon bottle. The unit holds just under 2 gallons.The instructions indicate you place it on a hard flat surface so Ok, but what about height? Does putting it on a table or shelf make it more effective than setting it on the floor? Inquiring minds want to know.Like most gadgets these days this thing requires an 'app'. The controls on the unit are not adequate to set things like humidity level or schedule so you have to get the app. You have to be able to pair it up with your home network which again requires the app.I don't care for the app at all, it's overdesigned with lots of cute pictures - 'scenes' - the majority of which are irrelevant, but getting to the functional settings is a pain, it would be much better if they streamlined the app with a direct tap to set humidity levels, schedule etc. without all the other unnecessary stuff that gets in the way. I'm a cantankerous old fart who values ease and simplicity not a lot of useless stuff to manipulate. At the end of the day I couldn't get the schedule feature to work so I just turn it on and off manually.Bottom line it works and is a quality piece of gear that consumes a lot of water quickly even on 'low'. It may be better in smaller rooms as it rarely seems to hit the humidity level I set. So FYI.

This humidifier is fantastic! It is so versatile and easy to use.I have it set up on Wi-Fi as well as voice controlled through Alexa. I like that I can set a humidity standard and once the room reaches that level the humidifier it turns itself off and when it goes below my set level the humidifier turns itself on.The water capacity is also great as I fill the humidifier every couple days which is simple enough. I also like that it has a nightlight if you like to sleep with a small light on. That is controllable through the voice with Alexa as well as through the app.I've had it for almost a year without any issues at all. I clean it once every 6 to 8 weeks and it looks like new every time. II change the filter once I see it very yellow and that's also simple to do.Fantastic humidifier.

I had a smaller humidifier that I had to fill every other day and that was only running it at night. And it was inconvenient because I had to take it to the kitchen sink.This one is bigger and holds over a gallon and a half of water and I run it 24/7. The skin on my hands was so dry. It would crack around my fingers before and now it is much better. Also, my sinuses are not dried out and don’t bleed. I also can fill the machine right where it is with water.
