You can check whether the camera is installed in the wrong position, you can switch the position of the camera, upside/downside.

The switch in the control box on the cable flips the image upside down. You use one side with the switch in the position received and the othr in the position opposite received.

Does the lens turn right and left so that the camera can be mounted horizontally? Or does it mount only vertically?

The camera is designed to be mounted on the fender, just in front of the hinge point of the front door. It has a switch to select which side is on top (so that the image isn't upside down on one side of the car). It has no switches to rotate the image 90 degrees. If you mount it horizontally, you will be looking at the world sideways.

How long is wire length of camera? in inches?

It is 38 inches long but I cannot use mine I have two that were sent and both of them did not have the charger for the car with it but the quality of the camera and cable are very nice they feel solid for an Amazon product the monitor looks cheap don’t know how well it works either because obviously I can’t plug it in but they did refund all my money and I still have the cameras they did not want them back so I wish you luck with that unless you were the lucky one that got the cable and the charger hope that helps mother earth is awesome 👍😎
