Yes, this product contains Certified Organic Sheep Sorrel - whole plant Including the Roots. We meticulously follow the Exact Recipe of Rene Caisse and Dr. Charles Brusch.

Is this powder intended to make into tea, or is it taken diirectly as a supplement?

It is intended to be used as tea- dissolves right into heated water. I usually don't do well with herbal teas, but this one pretty good!

Has this tea been tested for heavy metals?

I’m a little confused about the directions. They say consume 9oz a day? This bag only has 8oz in it?

You only use about 1 oz of the tea and it takes a day to make it. You put it in a large pot with recommended water (makes about 2 quarts at a time. After letting it boil it has to sit for 24 hours. I keep it in 2 quart jars. I cover the jars with foil because it says to keep in amber colored jars and I didn't have any.
