Replacement Ear Pads for SteelSeries Arctis 1, Arctis 3, Arctis 5, Arctis 7, Arctis 9X, Arctis Pro & Arctis Prime Headset Headphone Earpads, Memory Foam & PU Leather (White)

The fitting is quite tight on my Arctis 5 headphones, so I deducted 1 star. Otherwise, the product is nicely packaged and as per expectation. This is a good replacement because the original airweave pads would flatten out and my ear would start hurting or there would be a scratchy feeling. This is a good match for my white headphones and I am happy :)

FULL DISCLAIMER: im not saying its a bad product. but given my daily use as well as my ears this product is NOT for me. but it clearly seems like it is for others.The original airweave pads preformed fine for me and offered great comfort but after years of wearing and washes it deteriorated and i needed replacements. i seen that these offered much larger and denser foam. i also seen that most voiced that it was an extremely tight fit and i can 100% agree with this. and for the price it made no sense to buy steel series official pads when they charge a fortune for international shipping to the UK. it was either £22.70 for steel series or £25 for brainwavz. i figured the overwhelming positive reviews on youtube and articles it would be a no brainer.Upon arrival i was expecting the inner cushion to be fabric as thats what it looked like in promotional material but it also seems to be a synthetic thin adhesive leather as well. The pads themself IMHO don't offer much flexibility for larger ears meaning your ears will be hard pressed inside the pads. but other than that they could be fantastic for othersThe major discerning factor for me however is the insane sound difference in audio. And im confident its not for the better sadly. i immediately noticing that the mids-highs started to become dull and flat. and i cant quite understand why. maybe there is a greater distance than i thought form the driver who knows.Either way others have reviewed that it takes time to wear them in but functionally speaking id prefer them to be at a standard right out of the box!

Ich hatte das Problem, das die original Polster sehr weich waren und dadurch der Hörer zu viel Druck aufs Ohr ausgeübt hat. Der Memory-Schaum komprimiert nicht so stark, weshalb jetzt weniger Druck auf dem Ohr ist und ich auch nicht so schnell Schmerzen habe, besonders bei langen Sessions.Das Kunstleder benötigt etwas Zeit am Ohr, um etwas geschmeidiger zu werden, was aber bei Leder Produkten Normal ist.
