RECOIL RCX694 4-Way 6X9 Inch Car Audio Coaxial Speaker System

For the price I was like it just temp ones I got 2 rears 6x9 and was pretty surprise bass is alright but I’m getting the door speakers and stuff first before doing the subs might just buy the 6.5 door speakers Was going with skar but for the price these are good Wasn’t even up all the way would say like 80% up

I bought the Recoil 8" sub to replace the blown factory sub in my 04 4runner. I was so impressed with the quality, that I bought these 6x9's to replace the failing front door speakers. The factory JBL speakers are component in the front door. I simply removed the factory speaker and crossover and installed these. The factory speakers are 2ohm and these are 3ish. It's hard to find 2ohm 6x9's that don't break the bank. I was worried these may be a little quiet based on the slightly higher ohm rating. Once I got them hooked up, I found that they were sufficiently loud and sounded great. It has great bass as well as quality mid and treble. It's just a good sounding speaker. I think I will end up buying the 6.5's to replace the rear door speakers as well. I'm just really impressed with the quality and value of Recoil.

Well I had put some recoil brand 6.5" component speakers into a Kia soul to replace a blown factory speaker... It sounded amazing for the price I was shocked. So when I acquired a project car with blown speakers I ordered the 6x9" speakers one sounds ok but the other was blown out the box. They have very little mid range and almost no bass. The highs are great if you can deal with the vibrating rattle of a blown woofer cone. Do these not get tested when manufactured? Cause this is horrible...and so to return I have to completely uninstall it's a pain in the butt .. I should have tested them first but I was sure they would sound way freaking better than they do.

for the price they're not bad at all. they're certainly far better than the blown stock speakers in my Corolla. with adapters they fit well and function perfectly. bass production is far less than I expected from them and the highs are much brighter than I think they should be. heavy use of the EQ in the stock stereo shows they can produce a more natural sound. the lack of bass could realistically be caused by the stock stereo.

I bought these for my 99 Camry because the old one were junk I kinda thought these would be a minor upgrade little did I know I was wrong it was a huge upgrade a felt them in the drivers seat clarity was on point power was great it was easy to install the build quality was like a tank great value for the money in my opinion better then jbl.

First of all, dang, the price is great. Second, the sound is stellar for the price. Such a deal! I will agree with another reviewer on here that the speakers are more sensitive to the highs and mids, so I just tuned the radio a bit and, bam, terrific! Hits decently hard and has great resonance with the stock 07 Camry radio. Oh just make sure you know how to solder. Will make install a bit easier

Le doy 2 estrellas por 2 buenas razones aún no las eh probado pero supongo que por el precio no deben esperar mucho,pero lo que si realmente puedo decir con mi experiencia con este producto es desde la simple entrega ya que yo lo pedí con la opción de prime y se retraso el paquete 2 veces Y por otra parte las 2 bocinas llegaron un el tweeters fuera de su lugar y sueltos En cuanto al material se sienten muy sensibles tanto el cono de la bocina como el caparazón ya que se siente entre metal y plástico

El producto muy bien empaquetado.

*UPDATE JUNE 07,2025. Today I updated my factory Chevy Cobalt radio with a Pioneer MVH-S522BS receiver and these speakers are even more amazing! After tweaking EQ and crossover settings I'm in impressed with these speakers. The Pioneer receiver made these speakers sound even better!* It's been a week now since I replaced the rear deck 6x9s in my 2008 Chevy Cobalt with these Recoil Audio 6x9s and I'm extremely pleased with the sound quality and depth they have. Great speakers, great price, for a budget builds, I definitely recommend Recoil Audio! Update: Sept. 23, 2024. I have now had the 6.5 coaxials installed for over a month and I have to say as replacements for my factory speakers in my Cobalt I'm very impressed with these. I installed dynamat on my doors when putting in the 6.5's and even with no amplifier they hit pretty deep and sound really nice I'm very impressed with these speakers as factory replacements. Together with the 6x9's I'm very pleased with how my factory stereo sounds now.

Bought these for my 2024 frontier after having put kicker speakers in place of the factory ones. The kicker speakers were too high of wattage and sounded like crap. The recoils being a lower wattage (closer to factory) made a huge difference and sound great. Will be buying the 6.5” for the rear doors. Highly recommend

Installed in minutes. Excellent sound. Awesome price. 1 less star because did not come with wiring harness or ends to wire up (had to make my own)
