Zero complaints; 28 inches of usable space
I got this to hold 8 large mugs. We knew we didn’t want to install a bulky shelf just for these, but I wasn’t sure what else to do until I saw this. We have wrought iron in our home, and I like the simplicity of this design. I wasn’t sure how many workable inches I would have as far as whether the 8 mugs would fit, and I couldn’t find anywhere here or elsewhere online that mentioned it, so for anyone else wondering, between the two bends, the bar measures 28”. I felt that 3.5” would be just about perfect, and it was. The bar was easy to install. We didn’t hit a stud but used the mollies provided. It is very secure for our purpose. I am glad that the screws provided were also black on top; I hate when they send silver-topped screws with a black or brown item, it just looks tacky. So they got that right as well. As you will see in the photo, one mug is in use so only 7 are up, but you can use your imagination, ha ha ha.

Solid and Well-Designed
Packaging was designed to keep any part from getting scratched. There are a 15 hooks which is plenty. We plan on taking some of them off. The bar itself is EXACTLY 30" in length. A common size for range hood fans is 30" so it fits perfectly. Screws and wall plugs are included which is nice. I used my own plugs, for theirs a 3/16" or 7/32" drill bit should work. Start small then go bigger. Since the screws were so close to the edge, I couldn't get my drill to fit so I used a small hand-held powered screw driver to get closer. Something I was worried about was the hooks sliding off or sliding to the side when I moved the pots and pans. I was wrong to worry. The finish on the hooks and the bar is rough enough that it keeps the hook in place. I had been planing to use black twist-ties to keep them from coming off: No need to. I wasn't interested is having it be a place to hang lids, a feature advertised, so I set it way up high against the range hood fan. Glad I bought it, wish they had a stainless one!

Great for keeping stuff handy and off your counters and out of a junk drawer.
Really worked in my kitchen - I hung them under my cabinets as far up as possible, and between the two I ordered I have 30 spots to hold 100% of what I need. I'm even able to hang smaller cutting boards on them - they lay flat against the wall. I emptied my junk drawers and hung all my measuring cups and spoons. I ended up hanging 4 sets of measuring spoons and 3 sets of measuring cups - apparently I kept thinking they were lost somehow and buying them over and over because they end up scattered all around my kitchen vs in one easily accessible, easily spotted spot. The quality seems good and I hung them alone by bracing the bar with my non-working forearm. They seem sturdier than the usual lighter, cheaper racks I see in the store.

Very well made, strong, sleek and works with any style
This kitchen rail organizer is well-crafted, strong and sleek. It turned out to be the perfect solution for my ever-expanding kitchen collection. I installed it just below the ceiling on a 37" wall that a door sometimes opened against. The sculpture of antique pots hangs above the top of the swinging door and is a perfect display space. The opening of the door below doesn't disturb anything. The design of the rail works with almost any period, so adding some old and reproduction French pots and tools make a perfect blend. A few dried herb bunches really look great. Since this rack is hung about 9 feet up, I chose items of visual appeal that I did not use every day. Not only is it beautiful, but I gained an entire cabinet of space back.

Installation instructions as promised
I examined the hardware and found it to be sufficient. I've got stainless steal fry pans and pots. I have drywall and the didn't have any problems weight wise. (NOT GONNA USE MY CAST IRON FR PAN... I'd get another set and heavy duty hardware for that). I was suspicious of the claim to hold the POT COVERS. I've got GLASS covers and they didn't fit. I opted to purchase the pot cover holder hardware. Those worked fine. I guess if you have the metal covers they will fit, but glass covers won't fit past the hangers. Satisfied with the purchase out of the box. No extra hardware needed as some folks claim. If you have REALLY HEAVY pots, you should probably get beefier hardware, but for the normal person I believe this will be perfect. I also will be painting the hardware white. $3.00 can of paint should solve the problem. Also if you have the thicker glass covers, this won't work to hang your covers as well.

Simple and solid.
I appreciate the simple design and solid construction. The hooks bind a bit on the bar so if you expect to slide things around a lot, you might need to file down the hooks a bit at the pressure point with the rail. For me, I actually like how they stay in place and don't slide all over the place. Be careful about how you mount this to the wall. The mounting holes are two studs apart (32") so if you can find your wall studs and are okay with where that places the rail, you should mount into the studs. In my case, I couldn't use the studs on the desired wall, so I took care to use some heavy wall anchors. I can't remember if this came with some anchors, but regardless I used my own. The type that cinches up to the wall from inside are very sturdy.

Nice solid rail, easy to hang
I’m thrilled with this rail. It came with excellent drywall anchors and installation was quick. It’s currently holding a few small pans, a lid, a colander and several utensils and is proving to be very sturdy. The included hooks are really nice and I didn’t even need all of them. The rail and hooks have a bit of texture that keeps the hooks from sliding around easily - a plus in my book. Looks great on my wall!
