Incredibly easy to set up. Very stable. I'm a big boy and a voracious lover. This thing is a heavy weight and stands up to all of the punishment that I can dole out. I've hammered this thing relentlessly several times a week for a couple months now and it isn't showing any signs of wearing down. When a man of with my aggressive prowess tests it out for an extended period of time, you can be assured you are purchasing a high quality item. I can't say enough about the ability of this frame to absorb punishment. We have a king size casper mattress on top of a tempurpedic base. The memory foam mattress absorbs the majority of the havoc that my partner and i produce, but the sheer brute force of our tidal wave of effervescent excitement would lay waste to a weaker structure. We bought this as a replacement for a traditional wooden setup that we had previously. That frame was destroyed as a direct result of my uncompromising approach to the performance of my required duties. If you are a man (or woman) that knows no restraint.... if you are a person of unbridled passion... If your exuberance has broken or damaged bedroom furnishings in the past... The Hercules Platform is for you! Update June 11, 2017: Well, it's been over a year and I still love the Hercules. I had a problem with my Achilles and my knee which resulted in an extended period of zero exercise. Unfortunately, my diet didn't change and I put on about 20 LB. Let me tell you something... Even with the extra weight, the Hercules still handles everything I throw at it. And believe me, I throw a lot at it, if you know what I mean. I keep expecting the frame to give in... but it isn't compromised in the least. We broke another headboard recently, but Hercules stayed true. Things got a little out out hand one night when a couple of friends joined us unexpectedly. I can't really explain exactly what happened in this space, but suffice it to say that the headboard punctured the sheet rock, snapped in half and left a nasty gash in the hard wood. Yet the Hercules still stands. Defiant and Strong. Never flinching no matter what abuse is heaped upon it. I will check back in another year and let you know if it's still holding up. We have kind of gotten into a new thing recently that is really going to test it's limits.

I read a lot of the reviews and had doubts when i first ordered it. But after a few weeks of use, I can say this is such a great deal for the price. It took all of about 5 minutes to assemble the bed and is easily done by one person. After assembly, it was easy to slide into place on my carpeted rug. There are 12 supports (6 on each half), and after my first night using the bed, I was comfortable on it and can switch positions without fear of it collapsing. I have seen some people complain about squeaking. If there are any noises when I toss and turn, it's from the mattress moving a bit on the frame, and NOT the bed itself. I thought when I saw the wire supports in the picture, that they looked flimsy and would probably bend as soon as I got in bed. I was so, so wrong. The "wires" are very sturdy and have not bent at all since I first started using the bed. The "slats" across, the metal beams that go from side to side, are just as sturdy. I'm about 280 pounds, and this thing holds me with no problem. The under bed storage space is nice, but the bracers that run from the corner legs to the beams can get in the way, if you try to slide a tall box underneath. Of course, the bed is not as heavy as you might think. You can always remove the mattress and just lift it up to access the storage more easily. As a bonus, you can always remove the screws in the middle and have yourself two twin sized bed, for guests that need a place to sleep. Just pop on an inflatable mattress, and you're set. No, the frame will NOT pop an air mattress, as there are no real sharp points n the frame. Overall, I am completely satisfies with my purchase of the bed, and would recommend it to anyone at this price.

This bed frame arrived on time and was packaged very well. It was easy to set up and only took about 15 minutes to set it up. I have had the bed frame for several months now and have had no issues at all. Once removed from packaging it was placed inside our Queen sleigh bed wood frame. It was a perfect fit and much sturdier than the flimsy slats that was the original supports for my box spring and mattress. You can barely see this bed frame once it is set inside the sleigh bed wood frame. It elevated the bed perfectly so now the comforter falls beautifully on either side, totally hiding the metal bed frame from view with a graceful fall and length on either side. As a testament to its strength it has withstood several of my younger grandchildren that like to jump on the bed with robust energy My husband is close to 300 lbs and I too am no lite weight, unfortunately; and it has held our weight with no problems. There is no creaking or squeaking in the bed frame when tossing or turning during the night. The bed frame support legs are screwed in tightly to hold the support legs in place. We are very pleased with this bed frame and will definitely recommend the product to anyone in the market for a durable bed frame. The price is excellent as well.

I am not one to write reviews, but I read a lot of the reviews for this bed frame and it helped make my decision to order it. I have had it for about 2 months now and no complaints. I have the king size frame with a sealy Cocoon mattress I'm a larger guy 300+ and my wife is a little on the fluffy side, LOL. I was worried about it supporting our weight and making noise. I have to say that I am VERY happy with this frame, it not only supports our weight, but the kids also come in and jump on the bed with us. it's sturdy, no squeaking noises AT ALL, no wobbling, and it was very easy to put together. One thing I did read was to make sure that all nuts were tightened which I did and I even used a wrench on the wing nuts to tighten them up. I would definitely order this bed frame again or suggest it to anybody especially if you're on the larger side. Don't be afraid of noises and durability it worked great for us. Get rid of that old squeaky, broken bent frame and Don't hesitate to order this one right away, you'll be happy with this frame, order it now and put it to use quickly. We bought this bed frame to fit inside a decorative wooden king sized one. This was one of the only frames with small enough measurements that would fit, and it works great. It was extremely easy to set up and we haven’t noticed squeaks or anything to complain about. The price was also not too expensive. Overall we’re quite happy with this bed frame - it works perfectly for its purpose.

One of my twin children was running and he came from faraway and jump on my bed and broke my prior bed frame, then I started to look and to read reviews on Amazon, looking for a very strong bed frame and eureka. If you have naughty little ones like me, I strongly recommend this very strong bed frame. I love it quality, I love that it already comes assembled and I don’t have to waste my time reading instructions. I give1 millions stars.

Pedi esta base un poco escéptica de que fuera la correcta para mi porque tengo sobrepeso y se ve muy sencilla o fragil. Ya tengo un mes y medio usándola y solo buenos comentarios puedo hacer. El empaque es practico y colocación es súper sencilla, no necesitas herramienta ni nada especial, no es ruidosa ni rechina, es muy firme y se siente segura, la altura es funcional pues te permite almacenar cajas sin problema y si un comentario podría hacer es que después de un tiempo note que se separo un poco de la pared, por lo que podrían ponerle algún acabado antiderrapante a las patas, pero la verdad es lo de menos con el buen resultado.

3 years of use update: Still amazing, perfect as previously reviewed. Looking to get another Just put this together, and it is amazing! Easy and simple to put together. Its a comparatively lightweight support system which at least so far does not squeak or feel unstable. I am crazy pleased. I was worried about the height being too low without a box spring and no such worry. Its higher than traditional basic open frame bed frames + box and mattress. I live in an apartment and not only could I take navigate it by myself into my bedroom through stairwell and narrow turns, it packs up fairly small. Splits into two single cot size frames, I feel like if I was to even get a different bed I could easily keep this as a guess spare with roll out mattress or blow up and if not its such a great product the used re-sale would easily be over half its new purchase value (in my province theres no frames similar to this available) I also felt I got amazing bang for my buck as when I priced open basic bed frames they were all in the range of 70-140 dollars new and you'd have to have a boxspring with mattress. By skipping a box spring and getting this fully supported frame I was able to get a better quality mattress with my savings and have ample storage under the bed for apartment living. *Update: after a painless one form warranty process, Classic brands sent me a whole new unit. It took a bit longer to arrive as it came from their factory instead of a regional amazon distribution centre, was about 10 days, but whatever, I was able to continue using the broken one by forcing the broken one so my mattress didn't get damaged. It works, it's sturdy, and I haven't had any problems since. They stand behind they're warranty! Disclaimer: While initially very impressed, after three weeks one of the welds failed and one of the supports has broken off. That leaves 10 out of 12 functional feet. This is not good as it needs all 12! Sadly I can no longer recommend this and there is no way to return or process this under warranty. Disclaimer aside, I'm very pleased with this frame. I searched for traditional frames and bedroom sets, having had my king mattress on the floor for 9 months, and could not put together a solution less than $400. My requirements were simple: * It had to be on legs: I live in a basement, humidity becomes a problem when there's ground contact. The height of this is perfect, good to get in and out of, and perfect for the more intimate pursuits. * It had to be affordable: @ $160cdn with next day shipping, this frame was the cheapest option around. * It had to be sturdy: I'm a big guy, between my boyfriend and I we clock in and nearly 480lbs, plus the king mattress. This frame supported that no problem, inducing the more intimate pursuits. * It had to be easy to move: The highest point of entrance into our basement is 6'5", a traditional box spring was out, I was looking at dual twin xl's at $150 a piece, plus $120 for a basic support frame. This came in a 3ft box. It wasn't very heavy either, my roommate with chronic back problems was able to bring it in the house and into the basement with no issues. * It had to be easy to assemble: I'm in a temporary location, I'll be moving the bed in 4 months, then again in a year or two, portability was a must, this will fit into the back of any hatchback, was super lightweight and dead simple to assemble. A Philips screwdriver and pair of pliers made it tight and solid, but you could honestly do this all by hand with noting. This thing is solid and doesn't shift with the mattress on it (on my carpeted floor). Yet to move the whole bed a few feet, two of us could do it with minimal effort, smaller frames might even be movable by one person (a king is 79inches square so...) I like the height, the sturdiness, the easy of assembly and the price. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.
