If you found this review, consider you are lucky not to wasting on time/money/emotion. This is definitely a worthwhile product to buy. Hope they have more vibrant colour option and design variation, but it does serve fundamental purpose of comfortable, good fit/appearance, good fabric with comfortable breathability. I was initially skeptical about the MIER Men's UPF 50+ Sun Protection Hoodie Long Sleeve with the Thumbhole, but after wearing one for one day at work, I was sold!!! The hoodies are super comfortable -- almost feels like you're wearing silk --and fit my long arms, big hands, and thumbs perfectly!! The stitching and cutting are high quality, especially on the thumbholes and cuffs. After the first washing machine and drying, they still fitting me fine with no shrinkage or discoloration! I do want to caution that these hoodies are very thin and lightweight. If you're looking for something to wear in a cold climate or environment, I wouldn't recommend this, unless you're going to layer something on top of it. In fairness, the description does say they are lightweight, and that's what I wanted, because I already have heavy hoodies for outerwear. The color assortment is fabulous!! I just wish the price was lower. I got mine during the Black Friday sales and I'm so glad I got the different colors I really wanted! I have also received compliments on them, from coworkers and family!!

Love these things! So light even on the hottest days! While at a camp with students, they were baffled because I was wearing long sleeves, but I wasn't hot and not sticky from sunblock. Hood is large and if not placed correctly, could come down over your eyes. they have enough "bagginess" to them to be comfortable for us bigger guys, but not too baggy that you feel like you are swimming in them.

Super comfortable, great price, and excellent material which is soft without being slick like many sun shirts. Fits really well. I'm a little bigger and this fit nicely without being baggy. I bought this for a cruise along with some other colors for family. I've continued to wear it around when I need more than a t-shirt but less than a sweatshirt.

Perfect for keeping the sun off, and a light material. Runs slightly large.

First off the good. Very nice material and cut it feels great on and has the thumbholes to help with back of hand protection and a hood. I field tested this on a job in Texas. Temperature was high 80’s and humidity was running about 60%. Initially im happy to have the sun protection and any light breeze you could feel the garment cooling you down I have no doubt it’s wicking action is decent I didn’t feel any dampness in the pit area at all. The main reason i didnt score it higher is the garment is a fairly thick material so i felt at times i was too warm secondly it ‘pulled’ really easily on the chest area. i have no idea what it could have snagged on but i found 4/5 little snags having worn it for approx 10hrs. I’m going to keep wearing it and see if it suffers further snags. I’m not saying i wouldn’t get another one but there are many brands out there all making the same thing. I love the price point. But compared to an REI Sahara shirt for example you can really tell the difference in material thickness. Overall the style and color is great but i wonder if there are better ones for the same money the snag thing killed it for me a little.
