Disappointed
knife is good but cannot be made to fit into sheath! Sheath is WAY too tight for the knife.

when it arrived it was rather dull and the sheath left a bit to be desired
First lets start with my issues with the knife: when it arrived it was rather dull and the sheath left a bit to be desired.but the knife its self was perfect not one flaw and it feels perfectly balanced for fighting (the purpose of this knife), it also sports a mirror finish.this is impressive considering they use SS for the blade.all in all you are getting a lot for your money with this knife. if i lost it today i would buy it again pics: compared lengthwise to the KA-BAR

What A Beautiful Yet High Quality Knife!!!!!
Hello, Ever since I heard about the new Toothpick Knife from Down Under Knives, I have wanted it badly!! I already own the Outback Bowie Knife made by them, and I am sooo impressed with its quality, balance, edge holding, etc..that I Knew I just had to get a 2nd knife made by them. I almost bought a different style but little birdie told me to wait, lol. I tell you, sure am glad I've learned to listen to that "little birdie"!! That is when Down Under Knives came out with this beauty. I ordered mine from The Cowboy Store. I had learned that there are cheapo Chinese knockoffs of some of the Down Under Knives items. But if you go to Down Under Knives webpage, they have a list of legitimate vendors that carry and sell their legitimate knives. These places listed are Authorized Dealers of the actual knives and not the cheapo counterfeit ones com7ng from China.The Cowboy Store shipped my knife out to me almost immediately....and Incredibly Fast Delivery too!! My Down Under Knives Toothpick knife arrived in splendid shape. Professionally packaged and not a blemish or a scratch one on that shiny big beautiful mirror polished blade. It arrived in perfect condition...not even a piece of fuzz on the blade or the handle.The Toothpick knife feels great in the hands and has excellent balance. Now here is a kicker for you. The knife has a starting edge on it but it isn't sharpened to its full capacity. Now some folks will not like that because they prefer their knives to arrive already razor sharp, at which knives used to arrive that way. But I think that with new safety measures and concerns, most knife companies won't ship out their knives pre-sharpened to their full extent.However, there are others like me for instance, that actually Prefer their knives to be received with a starter edge on them, but not sharpened fully. I myself prefer this because I have my own style edge that I like to put on my bigger knives. Plus, I find it to be a lot of fun to sharpen my own knives, lol!To date, I have acquired a very nice collection of both high quality production and totally 100% handmade Bowie and Survival knives. My most prestigious ones are knives made by Andrew Clifford aka ACK knives (These are some of the best, highest quality knives ever made). My others are my MCE 2 knife mad5e by Martin Knives (Newt Martin), my Sam Wilson #2 and Prototype #2 M1 knife, and last but surely not least, my high end, superb quality handmade First Blood movie knife made by Canadian Knife Maker and good friend, Ray Matton. And now, I have been both proud and honored to add my brand new Down Under Knives Toothpick Knife!!!;

Authentic DOWN UNDER Toothpick knife
This is a authentic DOWN UNDER Toothpick knife. Very well made. I have been chopping and dicing for a week before posting this review, just to make sure I can stand behind my words. Sheath is made of quality thick leather, which I believe will last decades if cared for properly.Starting 5th photo is a side by side comparison to a cheap counterfeit "Down Under" bowie knife "STAUER.com"! Look at the thickness of sheath material and blade thickness difference! The real thing weights twice as heavy as the fake.
