4ALLFAMILY USB LID Interchangeable with 4ALLFAMILY Explorer, Voyager and Nomad Big Size Coolers (Black Explorer LID)

I bought this to complete my "collection" of 4AllFamily Voyager. It works really well with Biogel ice pack to keep the insulin cold for at least 2 days. Without the biogel ice pack, it will maintain the room temperature when you store the in-use insulin. The only downside is it's pricey.

When I started using Humira, I was very concerned about how I could keep the pens at the correct temperature (36°- 46° F) during travel days in excess of 30 hours. I didn’t see good options that made me comfortable until my husband found 4AllFamily and their Voyager cooler. We bought two several years ago (I can fit three pens in each after I take them out of the wrapper) and have used the coolers many times. We also purchased four Portable Chargers (38800mAh) which I use to keep them functioning properly. I prefer not to use the airplane’s USB ports. We have some very long trips ahead and I decided to purchase an extra USB lid in case something happens to one. There is no problem going through TSA….I keep the coolers in a large purse that can accommodate both coolers as well as four chargers. One time an agent thought I had a bomb since I had cables “running all over”….he called a supervisor who said immediately there is not any problem with the coolers. The entire staff at 4AllFamily is wonderful, always answering questions, and standing by their products. If you need to keep medicine cool, I urge you to investigate their products. I think you will find what you need.

I purchased this so that I could take my new medication that has to be stored in the refrigerator on road trips with me. Its maiden voyage was a six day trip throughout the South. The average daily temperature was in the low 90s. This lid was easy to use and performed like a champ. My medication was always refrigerated. I deducted one star because you really need to have more than one back-up battery because it did go through multiple fully charged batteries every day. So, I was always charging a back-up battery. This is a great value because it saved my medication from becoming unusable. The replacement cost of the medication is over 10x the price of this unit. One very important point to note: I did not use this on any flights and am not certain that an airline would allow you to use this product during a flight. If you are flying, check with the airline first.

I have the Voyager and love it. I used it on our trip to Europe last summer and it was perfect for keeping my Zepbound at the perfect temperature. I was so happy to see that they have a bigger usb lid which will hold 1 more pen. This is a game changer

It runs quiet.. plugged in it will just keep it a constant 30⁰ to low / mid 40⁰. I have a 20,000 milliamp hour battery. That I can use for flights. ( Most flights have USB plugins so it's kind of a moot point but I found that with that battery pack I could get about 12 hours of cooling).

We originally bought two to keep her insulin cool. One fell out of our back pack accidentally and the top broke off. Amazon offered this refrigeration unit which kept our replacement cost lower. This an excellent product. It lasted several trips until I dropped it. We highly recommend the 4allfamily cooler.

This particular item DOES NOT have a temperature display, nor does it have the aluminum heat sink tube that conducts heat away from the stored insulin. It seems to keep the interior at about 54 degrees F, which is out of the recommended range 36°F to 46°F. My other ALL4FAMILY lids DO have the temperature display and aluminum tube. I guess I'll keep it, it may be ok for dealing with the insulin that's already in use and needs to be around room temperature for 28 days.

It Simms to not work at times but for the most part I like it

I had a 4ALLFAMILY Big Nomad Cooling case. I just upgraded the Big Nomad with the Chill Mate Cooling Lid, 2 Pathfinder Power Bank and the Tripper Carrying Bag for Medicine Coolers. We intend to travel and will have long flights and I need to keep my medicine between 2 and 8C (36-46F). We have tried it and it really works, keeping the temperature in this bracket all the time. At last we will leave, being confident that the medecine keeps cool all the time without freezing. Dont hesitate to buy this product. The Power banks also are great as a backup power for phones.
