Earpads for Sony WH-1000XM4 - Black

A great product, actually even better than the Sony factory ear pads. Super easy to install, look great, feel great and seem to have even more isolation than the originals though that may be because my original pads have slowly deteriorated over 5 years of regular use. Well worth the investment to restore my WH-1000XM4 (originally a $300 set of headphones) to optimum comfort and sound isolation and they now look & feel like new again. Only the pads had deteriorated and were showing their age so the Soulwit Pads are an economical way to update/upgrade old pads on what are still sonically a great pair of noise-cancelling headphones.

Although not as soft as the originals these are noticeably better than other knock offs. They have slightly better anc performance. Sound quality is quite acceptable. Btw the sensor used to detect if you have them on, works with these. It didn't work with the other knock offs. Installation was easy, they fit perfectly. I don't expect them to be very durable though.

I bought these earphone pads for my XM1004 earphones. The replacement ear pads shipped and arrived right on schedule. They were nicely boxed. The installation instructions were clear and easy to follow. The new pads fit perfectly on the earphones. The feel very comfortable and seem to be well made. I recommend them.

My headphones look and feel almost like new again. The material is a bit firmer than the original ear pads, and they sit slightly higher. You also lose a little bit of the seal, which affects the noise cancelling somewhat, but overall they perform quite well. If you’re not too much of an audiophile and just want to give your headphones a new life while keeping the overall sound quality, I’d definitely recommend them.

These are a great replacement pair of pads for the XM4s. I was a bit apprehensive since a few years ago I had previously attempted a non-OEM pad replacement on my XM2s (not this brand) that degraded the sound cancelling. These replacement pads did no such thing and returned my headphones to a great place. The earpad material quality and ‘bounciness’ is good and I have no complaints. The sound cancelling is noticeably better now and matches their performance as new. Replacing the pads was very easy, there were diagrams and a nifty tool was included to easily remove the old pads. My recommendation is to redo the sound cancelling optimizer once you’re done with the replacement. Overall highly recommended, great cost for what you get back.

I gave these 5 stars off the bat for the following reasons: 1. Ease of install. Took 5 minutes. 2. Perfect fit. My original ear pads were 6 years old and quite flat and torn. These are a bit thicker. 3. Absolutely no negative change with the ANC. Actually ANC seems better with the new pads. I used the Sony app to optimize the sound again. Rush Cinderella Man sounds amazing. My wife is talking. I can't hear her at all. :D 4. Comfort. I'm 6 foot 5 and my head is not small. The thicker pads do not put a lot more pressure on the head when wearing these headphones. Maybe there will be cons in the future where I might have to change the rating, but right now there isn't any. Sure beats paying 65 bucks for an OEM set from Sony.

They’re really good. You do loose some of the noise cancellation so if that’s important these are a dealbreaker but they’re very comfortable and soft.

the Soulwit earpads have been my go to replacement headphones for premium headphones. These are a perfect fit, and fully compatible with the Sony XM4. Installation is super easy - takes under a minute, just line up the locks and press fit. They are extremely comfortable, at par with the original ones, and do not compromise on the sound quality or noise cancellation. At the price i paid for it, its a fraction of what the original ones cost - absolute value for money. I also own a pair of Bose QC 35ii (bought in 2018) and have replaced those earpads with these twice - they usually last about 3 years with heavy usage.

Seems to be the same as originals. Old came off easy and replacements went on easy. Great product.
