MED PRIDE Pure White Petroleum Jelly, Skin Protectant Ointment, 15 oz Jar

This pure, white petroleum jelly is the best! I have used plain, cheap petroleum jelly for years. It's hard to wash off, but it did a fair job of keeping my skin properly lubricated, especially for surgical incisions. As I understand, the white petroleum jelly is a purer version. I find that it does a great job for my surgical healing and general skin health. I like mixing a bit of this with some Vaseline Intensive Care lotion. I rub it into my scalp, face, forearms, and hands after my shower. I find that this lasts longer and stays in place better than the lotion alone. It's also not as greasy as regular petroleum jelly. It helps with my dry scalp and leaves my hair shiny but not greasy. I put it in my damp hair, roughly arrange it by hand, and then, a little later, I brush it into place. My hair is then secure, but doesn't look greasy. I am a man, if that helps.

Wonderful stuff!! I have used it on my partner's legs every day for the past few months, and it has helped with his vein insuffiency due to severe edema. I finally found some great support socks for him. First thing in the morning we generously apply this jelly - - then socks for the rest of the day until bedtime. His legs are so smooth and the little blisters and dry spots are healed. He feels like a new man. The combination works so well for his improvement and healing. Excellent. I was surprised at the very large size. Product is sealed tight on outside and has a tight seal inside. Zero scent. Very light, glides on and quickly turns to liquid and sinks in. It was an answer to severely chapped lips and dry skin. So much cheaper than the black tube "Jack" I was running through and didn't work.

I bought this for my left leg that has Lymphedema and also Lymphedema Sores and my leg looks wonderful and there’s no blisters /sores.

This is a great option for those who do not want the thickness (or higher price) of aquaphor; this is the same consistency of the Prequel multipurpose ointment at a much lower price point. White petrolatum is a purified grade of petrolatum (petroleum jelly) that is colorless, odorless, and safe for cosmetic and pharmaceutical use on skin.

Works good on my psoriasis. Like the 100 dollar steroid ointment, without the steroids.

Good to have in medical cabinet. Very fair price.

It's very high quality but the expiration date is just 5 months from now !
