Aosom Youth Scooter 16" Tires

This scooter was a huge hit for our granddaughter! This was a gift for her 7th birthday, and she had no trouble navigating it. Very well made scooter, and appears to be quite sturdy.

Bought it for grandchild. She used it for a season and the neighbor kids trashed it. Wish it had lasted longer. Putting it together took longer than it was used.

The instructions appear to be originally written in Chinese and then google-translated into English. I'm fluent in both Chinese and English, and I can't understand any of it. :D Part of it is actually missing - nobody bothered to proof read the thing. There are photos, but they are blurry and sometimes don't correspond to the word instructions. So it took me 2 hours to build this simple little scooter. I did it by staring at the picture and reading the instructions again and again until I come up with a guess as to what they are talking about. So I got through it, but I can't figure out how to adjust the brakes at all. Nevertheless, they still work somewhat, so I'm happy. (I'll study how to adjust bike brakes on youtube later.) I have to take off one star because no way am I giving 5 stars to such horrible instructions. Nevertheless, it still deserve 4 stars because the scooter parts all seem to be of good quality. There are two brakes, both front and back, and looks nice and solid. Rides nicely, and it's not too heavy to lift. Some other reviewers mention missing parts. I was missing a screw and nut from the brake handle, but when I looked harder in the box, I found it hidden under the cardboard flaps, even though I thought I got everything out. Note to seller: please make a youtube video on how to build it. If you don't speak English, use AI to do the talking, and at least use English subtitles. It's a nice scooter, it deserves better assembling instructions, especially when it's being sold online. It will cut the number of returns way down. Also, pack the screws and nuts in their own sealed bag so that the customer doesn't have to look for screws all over the large box.

im sure its a nice scooter but it was supposed to arrive on December 21st and we still have not recieved it. Update its now February 27th 2024 and apparently they refunded my money, even though I didnt request it, but decided not to tell me.

Easy to put together! Brakes already attached so it's a no brainer! Shipped fast and my daughter loves the ride. Best of both worlds ...a bike and a scooter, I couldn't believe the price!

Scooter came half assembled, which was good and bad, as the pictures in the instructions manual were a bit backwards. I eneded up disassembling half of it in order for it to come together correctly. Biggest issue was the body was damaged in shipping because the barely wraps the parts in bubble-wrap and add no packing materials to keep it from moving around. In the end, you get what you pay for. We'll see how long it holds up.

I bought two of these one pink and 1 blue both my girls loved them I have also rode on them well made.

Everything came packaged well & with all instructions. It took time to put it together definitely a mans job. lol but we can’t wait to see the look on our princess face for Christmas 2024

I was very disappointed in this product, feels very light , brakes would not align. I would not feel this scooter would be safe for my daughter to use.

Works well, kid enjoys it and its a smooth ride with the large wheels. Takes a bit of getting used to since its longer than your typical scooter, so turning and adjusting is a bit different. Basket broke after a few weeks of use, seems like cheap plastic. Assembly was a bit annoying as I had to disassemble some parts due to them being installed over top of the plastic wrap on the frame.

Kiddos love it. And other kiddos like to cruise around, and share it with their friends. Was pretty simple to put together. Instructions were pretty basic. Was a fun one to wrap for a gift as well

Nice product overall, but there's a couple of things you should know. It's like 4 feet long and it's a pain to put together. It will help if you or the assembler have experience building bikes because it's a little bit like building it from scratch. There are some brake adjustments that need to be made. Nice big rubber tires and looks good.
