Aqualung Rocket Fin Strap Assembly Kit

A few negative reviews mention that the clip that attaches to the fin is ‘too loose’, falls off, lost at sea, etc.. I am 99.9% positive they didn’t attach them properly. The clip has a hole large enough to go over the anchor on the fin but then there is a narrow spot that opens up to a smaller hole. You have to put the clip on using the large hole and then slide it backward into the smaller end. IT IS HARD TO DO!!! But it should be! You really have to apply a lot of pressure to move the anchor into the small hole. When done properly, it will NOT fall off when disconnecting the strap. I can’t wait for our next dive trip! (I bought spares since 2 of our 12 year old straps broke over our Thanksgiving trip.)

Great fix for a broken rear strap. I was worried i would have to buy a whole new set of fins or a very expensive spring heal strap. I just don't dive that much anymore. Great solution.

Simple strap. $15 for one strap seems a bit much. Los, the buckle that attaches to the fin is too loose and slides off rather easily. I had the buckle fall off the fin (when utilizing quick release) and the clip fall off the fin three times during the course of a day diving. I ended up losing the buckle on second to last dive and had to cannibalize from an older set of fins. Buckles desperately need to fit more securely!
