Mulberry Silk Sleep Mask, Cool and Smooth(Blossom Almond) | Genuine Organic Silk, For Sensitive Skin, Soft Filling, Lightweight, Flat Design

I've been using Alaska Bear silk sleep masks for years and am a devoted fan. They are so comfy and smooth against the skin, with just a hint of pressure on the eyelids to keep them closed. When I put one on at night, it relaxes me and if/when a ray of light gets through, I know it's morning. I like black but all the patterns/colors are nice, Hard to sleep comfortably without my mask!

I’ve bought this eye mask a few times and really like it. I tried the pink color first and it kind of let light through, but the dark color with stars is much better. The material is very soft and it conforms to my face well. It also feels very light to wear and doesn’t put pressure on my eyes or nose. I like how it’s adjustable so that I can keep using it as the band stretches out over time. I’ve found that it can be effectively hand washed with warm water and dish soap, letting it air dry for ~8 hours, to keep my face clean

Right, I'm not sure how to rave highly enough about this sleep mask. I have searched high and low for years to find one that doesn't fall off my head or block all light. I put this on, it is a snug fit and I see only pitch black. The band is so thin and soft it doesn't dig in or get caught in my hair. If you, as an adult, have a small head, get this mask. I wear child size sunnies, this mask is perfect for me. I've bought three in case they stop making them, one for home, one for travel, and a spare. I hope that helps.

I usually buy sleep masks at convenience stores or airport markets. They're usually about $5 in those settings and almost always come with a pack of earplugs. My cat actually stole my most recent cheap one(still have not found it 6 months later) and I have trouble sleeping without the masks forcing me to. So, I went on Amazon looking for another cheap one and found this relatively cheap one. I believe I paid $8 for it several months ago and I am so glad I didn't just go to the convenience store down the street. The cheaply made ones usually have some sort of felt on the side you put against your eyes, which I always found a bit itchy and uncomfortable. There was also a lack of adjustment, so if your head is smaller, it's really easy for them to fall off in the night. This mask was actually silky, I expected it to be silk on the front and more felt on the face side. It was all silk. Now that's great because it is super comfortable, but it also makes it much easier to slip off, even with an adjustable head strap. I have mine in the tightest position and it still usually ends up under my head at some point in the night. Annoying, but I'm already used to it so it's more just a plus that it isn't itchy. It is also quite a bit larger than the cheap ones, which blocks more of the light from seeping through at the edges. If my cat ends up stealing this one too, I'll likely just buy another from this brand because I have been very happy with it overall.

I know there were some complaints about this mask, so I was hesitant to try it. Since it was best selling and Amazon choice, I decided to take a chance. I've had it for about two weeks give or take. It took me some time to figure out how to get it just right for me, but I think I've gotten it how I need it. To keep it from being too tight on my eyes, I move the band closer towards the top of my head rather than the middle. It blocks out all light that way, and I can even open up my eyes underneath it. It was coming off my head several times a night at first since I toss and turn a lot, but a simple adjustment of the band fixed that. I do not machine wash it whatsoever, not even on delicate. I hand wash it and hang it up to dry. It does not leak dye when I wash it or when I sleep. I do not have any issues with wrinkles or loss of quality either. I want to note that I did wash it before I ever used it for the first time since I saw some people say it bothered their eyes. It's actually helped me go to sleep a lot faster since light leaks into my room at night, so I'd say it's worth it. I will update my review if anything changes.

I have one of Alaska Bear’s old style sleep mask. I thought I’d lost it on an overnight stay recently. I immediately ordered another. Found the original (black silk mask in bottom of a black overnight bag = no see-it), within minutes of placing the new order. I kept the order because I decided I wanted a second for just in case, and to have one to use while one is drying. So glad I did…I love the new and improved style, but still love my original! They fit great, wash up very nicely (hand wash separately, gently squeeze water out by folding into a towel to roll and squish. Then hang or lay flat to dry…comes out like new). I’ve had my original over a year, washed several times, still looks new, works great and has never left color or stains on my skin or bed linens. I have a small head and this fits great due to their adjustment abilities. It has the best strap and hardware making it totally comfortable for back and side sleepers and stays as tight as you set it. I highly recommend Alaska bear sleep mask, it’s the best, most comfortable and efficient I’ve had and I’ve tried many! Would make a very nice gift too.

The quality of the silk and the straps are good. However the weighted beads sag towards the bottom and dont stay over my eyes which was pretty uncomfortable.

Despite having blackout blinds during the summer the bedroom is still too light. This sleep mask really helps in that it completely blocks out the light and helps me to get a sounder nights sleep. I still wake up during the night sometimes but far less frequently than before. I worried that it might make me hot having it on but it doesn't and is extremely comfortable to wear. Would recommend.

I bought this of r my husband as he was moaning that I had a cute mask and he didn't. Well this couldn't be more perfect for him. He is a big gamer and was moaning that mine was not big enough for his head and this is adjustable! Honestly this mask could not be any better! He is very impressed with how soft and comfy it is too. I have a very happy husband on my hands, thank you.

These are great! I was suffering with my eyes coming open whilst I was asleep which resulted in very sore eyes. These are lovely and soft and you can adjust the strap so they are just help loosely over your eyes. As they are silk they are beautifully soft. They also keep out the light if I wake up early and the bedroom is too light. I've bought two more pairs!

Such a comfy sleep mask!

Update to previous review: Alaska Bear got in touch following my original purchase review (below). They kindly sent out an updated version of the mask which is much improved! Specifically it he nee version has 2 straps at the back which means it is much less likely to move in the night. Also has better nose area coverage, so much much better overall performance in keeping the light out. Original review: 3 things I need from a sleep mask- comfortable to wear, doesn't indent my face come the morning and doesn't move to let light in. This mask meets the first 2 criteria well, but the last one is where it falls down. I find it moves far too much (strap is too flimsy) and thereby lets light in which is fairly crucial for a sleep mask. The search continues...
