Can you continue scanning into one report after scanning the 50 pages in the auto document feeder? i.e. Will it scan > 50 pages into one report?

Has anyone used this scanner for more than two years (moderate use)? I'm replacing a Neat Scanner that began to fail after about a year.

This is more of a business grade scanner than the Neat from top to bottom. I have a true paperless setup, I scan 99% of all of my documents (bills, receipts, instruction manuals, etc) the first time I handle them then shred the originals. The only thing I don't shred are legal documens but I still scan them. I have a routine that every month I make an offsite backup copy and every year I make an additional archive copy. I've scanned thousands of documents (more than moderate use) and the scanner has performed flawlessly. BTW this is my third scanner of this style, my first Epson.

Is the software compatible with Windows 10?

It depends. If you use the included driver disk with WIN10 there are a few important operational changes they made when they updated the drivers. If I had it to do over again I would have chosen to keep those drivers instead of letting it update. Scanning now requires a double press of the scan button whereas before it was a one touch operation. Not a big deal but I would say that makes it not "quite" as WIN10 compatible as it could be.

Does the es-400 ii scan all pages to a single document, then allow selected pages to be deleted, just like my deceased es-400 did??
