A product that causes you to stop buying it.
I have no idea what is up with the 3 star reviews. Two of them. One says that the print is too faint. Well, that's the point. It's there to help remember in case we forget something, but it is light enough so that we aren't forced to use the space in a certain way. I LOVE that about this book. The other review says there aren't enough pages since she does about 15 pages a day. This notebook is a tool to help remind us how to organize a good H&P while we are taking it. It is to be used primarily to help us learn and especially when we know that we are going to need to present a particular case. This book DESTROYS Perfect H & P for that. But on that note, I have NEVER seen an attending carrying one of these or a Perfect H&P around... because it's just a tool to learn by. If you are an attending and you still need a book like this to hold your hand and remind you what to ask... then perhaps you shouldn't be an attending, no? For me, I am beginning my PGY1 year in a week and I am extremely happy with this product that helped me greatly through my 3rd and 4th years of med school. I will probably use another couple of these books just to make certain I have it all down pat and never look at them again. And quite honestly, isn't that what it's for? If you can't eventually put this book down and never buy it again... it's not really doing it's job, is it? Five Stars.

Great in a low patient volume setting
There are a lot of great things about this product and it's excellent for organizing the examination of your patient. As an NP student there are a lot of helpful reminders and it is small enough to fit in my lab coat pocket. I'm giving this product only 3 stars as there are only 100 pages. In some of my clinical settings I may see 25 or more patients in a day and I went through this notebook in a 10 day time period. $15 is too pricey to go through this so quickly; however, if you're in a lower patient volume setting this is an excellent tool.

Great little notebook meant to help you start taking notes on your own.
Didn’t even need to use the whole notebook. It was great for helping me finally learn the most common ROS questions to ask! I used the template to come up with my own that works for me! I love the lab features in the back too. I’d recommend purchasing during your rotation where you work in a clinic since that’s where it was most helpful for me! I do agree that the pages aren’t nearly sufficient if you’re seeing 10-15 patients each day but if you’re using the template, then after a few patients, it becomes really easy to remember since you’re asking the same few ROS over and over again that you can use a blank sheet of paper to make notes in your own style (which is the ultimate goal if you’re using this guide anyway!). Great product and I would recommend every medical student who is just starting out in their rotation get a copy! I am so glad I did! My only regret is not getting it in my 2nd year of med school so that by the time 3rd year came around, I could look like a pro in front of my preceptors!

Pretty good product
A bit big for most pockets, but does fit in lab coat pocket. Durable.Missing past surgical history, kinda annoying.

Must like small print.
Great context and very inclusive. But I returned it due to the font size was probably 6
