Works well and easy to install

This replacement latch is a great fit and works perfectly. This is the second latch replacement I've done on my aging 2007 Honda CR-V, and went faster than the first one. The trick is to undo the bottom of the window rail so you can move it aside to remove the old latch and install the new replacement. Also, you don't need to unhook the rod from the handle. It can be gently pulled off the latch. Just don't drop the plastic connector, or it goes right to the bottom of the door and can be very difficult to get out. I suggest stuffing a towel in below the latch first to catch it when (not if) dropped. The latch itself works well and is quiet. A welcome fix to the Gatling-gun noise the original one made when the plastic gears start loosing teeth. The control cables snap in place exactly as the original. You must use the original cover, but it fits perfectly on the new latch. Overall, I'm happy with this.
