They absorb well, are durable, and launder beautifully. Personally, I like that these towels aren’t oversized or too thick—though I know others find them too lightweight and small, so that’s just a matter of preference. Some reviewers have mentioned that the towels tend to pill, which I have noticed to some extent, but it hasn’t been a bother for me. These dish towels are clearly designed to be utilitarian and not meant to be showpieces in the kitchen (although they are very pretty—I keep a small folded stack right near the range). These classic, hand-woven tea towels from India are made as they have been for hundreds, if not thousands of years! The natural, unbleached cotton fabric, with 3 decorative red stripes running lengthwise, is very absorbent, and the alternating-band-twill weave makes them tough and durable. They should last for many years to come. I love them!

Overall, these are a good value for the price. I love that the set came with 15 towels, and they’ve been useful for both kitchen use and general cleaning around the house. My husband has even claimed a few for outside BBQ cooking and cleanup. The towels are soft, absorb a fair amount of liquid, and wash well in the washing machine. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that they’re thinner than I expected and seem like they could rip easily over time. I’ll have to see how they hold up after a few months of regular use. Still, for the price and quantity, I think they’re solid everyday kitchen rags.

These kitchen towels are well made, sturdy, very absorbent, and lint free so you can use them for sucking up heavy spills, drying misty pieces right out of the dishwasher, and blotting food. They are 100% cotton so they are great for all this, but the really impressive thing is the thickness of the cloth, which is totally unlike the typical flimsy kitchen towels you get. I am COMPLETELY SATISFIED with these towels, and yesterday ordered a second stack of them, which arrive tomorrow. SOME HINTS: Launder them separately from your regular wash, use a good bit of bleach, wash them on HOT wash and HOT rinse (don't worry about the color stripe; it's not important). Dry them on the VERY DRY setting, and DO NOT USE A DRYER SHEET OR OTHER SOFTENER. That last tip will keep your towels wonderfully absorbent and just stiff enough for kitchen applications, like folding into heat pads that retain their shape. Some background, if you're interested: my first kitchen towels were purchased from a restaurant supply house, and so I wondered why they were almost completely non-absorbent and just sort of "pushed" the water around. Then I tried another brand from the same place, and these were super-absorbent, but "grabbed" the surface I was rubbing it on way too much and got pulled out of my hand, so no-go on that one. Then I tried a different brand that was made from synthetic fibers which frayed and melted too easily near heat, and they were non-absorbent. Then I reordered the original kind and they were really poorly made and way flimsier than the first batch. I had over fifty towels, and not one of them could do everything. And no, I am not confusing kitchen towels with bar towels, which you can sometimes see through. It was a joy to throw away all the old towels! :)

Great kitchen towel! Before purchasing these, I've always had the traditional terry cloth kitchen towels. These are far superior. They absorb just as well as terry cloth, but don't leave the lint behind like terry cloth sometimes does. The other perk is that they dry much quicker then traditional kitchen towel. I do recommend washing them before use, as there was a packaging odor to them. We've had no issue with any of the threads coming loose, and they seem to be very durable. The grey color goes great with almost any kitchen design.

Wrinkled straight out of dryer. While they dry quickly, they are not as absorbent as similar towels I have purchased in the past and become waterlogged quickly. The price was reasonable in May 2025, at 15 towels for $24.99. I see the price has increased by 40% to $34.99 in January 2026. I like the simple design--not sure if I will purchase again at this price.

Not as thick as I'd like, also smaller than I expected too

Very happy. I wont probably need to order more again. I haven't washed them yet. I like that they are thin and cotton. I am not a fan of the waffle type of tea clothes.

Too thin. Not what I was looking for. I want a kitchen dish cloth that absorbs moisture and dries cutlery properly.
