Elite Gourmet Electric Burner, 1000W Cast Iron Hot Plate, 7 Heat Settings

This is a great purchase. I ordered this Saturday, May 16, 2026. It arrives Sunday morning, May 17 just in time for breakfast.I cooked scrambled eggs which it is a photo. This morning when I arrived home from work , May 19, 2026 6am This is my very first video of 15 years of being an Amazon Customer . I had to do a video on this elite gourmet product. I love this little baby right here for $16.99it a permanent-stable for my small kitchen countertop. I am a RN nightshift I’m only one person I live alone .I like to cook. I’m electronic lady I must have all the kitchen appliances just in case just like this if my stove absolutely stop working..Is easy to clean, just wipe it off with a soft cloth. I’m OCD so I keep my house neat and clean. the heat speed is excellent it I put it to three and it heats up so fast even at level 2 .. I tried it to the max level and boy it’s very hot so I keep it at three as you can see. I cook the boiled egg this morning when I came in from Work from doing a double shift at the hospital. Once I’m done, I unplugged it because I am a Condo owner , I don’t want any fires. 🔥 when you unplug it, it still is warm which is good and it takes. Maybe I’ll say about 15 minutes for it to cool off. but just be careful when you unplug. It’s still hot. I looked at was one for $52.? I was sure about until it , until it stated the OMEO only take certain POT AND PANS. I didn’t want that. I wanted one that takes all of my COOK POTS. When I looked at this elite gourmet ,My intuition and heart lead me to this one , $16.99 that’s it steal it’s compatible it may work better than to the ones I’ve seen on Amazon that’s 50-$100. I am happy with my choice.. I’m able to cook everything I want to cook my fish eggs rice spaghetti whatever I want to cook regularly I can cook it. I use one pot at a time and it is compatible to all pots. You don’t have to get the introduction one where you only could use certain pots . this work for all pots, which my pots are ceramic and stainless steel. Only if you ever have a dysfunction with your stove, please get this one right here. I’ll tell you you’re going to be pleased with it. if you have a small kitchen countertop like myself you can have one burner like I have or if your countertop is a little bit bigger, they have the double burner for $27.99. Please don’t hesitate to purchase this item. You will be satisfied.

We purchased the Elite Gourmet ESB100B Single Coiled Burner because we’re currently redoing our kitchen and are without a cooktop. It has been a lifesaver! It works really well and gives us a simple way to continue cooking regular meals while our kitchen is under construction.The burner heats up nicely, and I love that the temperature is adjustable, so I can use it for everything from simmering to boiling. I’ve even used it with a fairly large pot, and it handled it without a problem. It works best with small base pots and pans. It’s also compact enough that it doesn’t take up a ton of counter space and can easily be stored away once we have our new cooktop.For such a simple and affordable appliance, I’ve been really impressed with how useful it has been. Definitely recommend it for kitchen renovations, small spaces, or as a backup burner!

Like many people, I like drinking coffee. I like hot, and iced, coffee, but I prefer the hot version, especially when it's cold outside. I used to put my cup of coffee in the microwave, so that I could return it to that perfect sipping temperature, but that isn't very efficient. Taking the time to go to the closest microwave is less time spent doing whatever it was that you were doing. On top of that, microwaves require a lot of electricity, even if you're just using it briefly to raise the temperature of your coffee back to enjoyable levels, but what other options are there, you might ask. I started using candle warmers a long time ago. They keep coffee warm, and they don't use much electricity, but warm coffee isn't hot coffee.I stumbled upon this Elite Gourmet electric single burner, and had to try it. Will it keep my coffee hot? Will it still be more cost effective than continually reheating coffee in a microwave? Will it be safe enough to use anywhere, or I should say, anywhere with an electrical outlet, and a table, or desk, to put it on?For starters, it definitely keeps my cup of coffee hot. In fact, I only turned the dial up to 2, and my coffee was hot. So hot that I had to turn the dial down to between 1 and 2. For me, that's the sweet spot. With the temperature dial set at 1.5, or one and a half, if maintained my coffee at the perfect temperature, for me. As for the difference in power usage, I will have to return, and update this review in 1-3 months, so please return to this review later to check for that update. I can say that I get a lot more done due to not trekking back and forth to a microwave, and getting more done, whether it's work, hobby, or whatever, is always a good thing. Lastly, is it safe to use everywhere that makes sense? The short answer is......it depends. If you have enough space to place the burner so that it's not close to a wall, or things that can melt, or catch on fire, the answer is yes, but the surface it's setting on needs to be considered too. I used an infrared temperature gun to take intermittent temperature readings under, and around the burner, while keeping the burner setting at 2 for exactly one hour. I discovered that the hottest zone, other than the burner itself, was directly under the burner. So, whatever you're using this burner for, whether it's to keep your coffee hot, or for cooking food, you need to be careful, and make sure that you turn it off if you're going to leave it unattended. Anything that gets hot enough to cook food on, is hot enough to be potentially dangerous, if you're not being careful, and this device gets very hot, very quickly.Anyway, I really like this burner. It works excellent. It's very easy to operate, it's light enough to transport, providing you wait until it's cooled down first, and it doesn't take a lot of space to use on a counter, table, or desk. It's easy to clean, but make sure to unplug it first, especially if you're using a damp cloth, or sponge, and don't use a scratch pad, or any abrasive cleaning pad, especially metal ones, like SOS, or Brillo. Please read the instructions before using it. I even think the burner looks nice. If I had to nitpick, I would like it even better if it had a digital display showing the temperature. While I have a infrared temperature gun, to check the temperature of each of the 1-Max dial settings, it would be nicer to have a digital display, so that you could see the temperature without having to use a separate device. I will say that the temperatures for each dial setting are consistently the same, after multiple different readings. It's a great product, and I'm glad that I bought it. I'm considering purchasing another one, so that I don't have to transport this one to and from places. I'll update this review in a few months, to add how cost effective it is, compared to using a microwave. I hope this review helps.

Update: I'm really starting to like this burner...works well....and fast when it's fully heated. THE UPDATE: I do one task at a time and shut it off...! Pre-cooking food that is.Customers need to know that this burner takes a while to heat upto its par...however...once it gets to its temperature it seems to work well. Cooling is long.........which can be dangerous...but it's also a really good source to keep your food warm until your ready to serve. The high marks may come if the product lasts for a period of time. To be determined.

A wonderful addition to make cooking part of my life again. I can now sit at a tray table with a silicone pad for safety. I used it after the sticker on top was removed. What was your company thinking to stick that so close to the cooking surface? Goo Gone had no effect except to scrape it, now machine has scratches. NOT HAPPY WITH THE IDIOT’S Placement. Get a clue!

Received it yesterday (9/2026) and have used it twice so far: boiled frozen green beans and the cook time didn't seem much longer than on the stove; maybe an extra few minutes to get to a boil. Later, I made hot chocolate and heating the milk in a small pot took only a few minutes. I'm impressed so far.I purchased the coils version. I like that it's lightweight and easy to clean because I'm in a small kitchen, so will be storing it on a shelf near my prep area between uses. I'd been relying on just a toaster oven and a small microwave, so having a burner that works so well considerably widens my cooking choices.TIP: The First Use directions say to wipe it down before using and also mention that during the first use there will be a small amount of smoke & a smell, produced by whatever is on the coils during manufacture. So I wiped it with a wet paper towel and the towel became black everywhere I wiped on the coil, but upon using a fresh towel, further wiping came up clean. The burner didn't produce any odor or smoke at all when I turned it on.

Heats evenly. Worked perfectly for my needs. Used for warming of wax for candles. Easy to clean, easy to use, and easy to move/store. Good size for pan size. Bought my sister one as well when her oven wasn’t functional. Cooked well.

Lasted less than a year, by a few weeks, with daily use. If you are looking for a portable hot plate for travel, this may work well for your needs. It's also quite cost-effective. But if you need a very affordable, durable hot plate that you may use several times a day, go for something a bit higher end. For the price, I think it's well worth a look.

Works pretty good. Great for its' value.

Lasting Only 10 Minutes

My Elite Gourmet stove failed within just a few months and is no longer working properly. It sparked, caught fire, and gave me an electric shock… There is no response from Amazon and seller????????????

I’m very happy with the Elite Gourmet Countertop Electric Burner. It works well, heats up nicely, and is very convenient to use.
