I used this kit to replace the fan on my fireplace insert blower. This fan has been running 24/7 from November to March for the last couple winters. It’s still going strong and moves a good amount of air.

Quiet and fit stove perfectly.

A bit noisy on high but works good. It moved a good amount of air around fireplace to warm up living room.

easily fit on direct vent gas fireplace. definitely improves heat output. its a bit noisy (humming noise) that can be heard in a quiet room but not too noticeable over other noises like TV or conversations if you keep the speed setting low. if you turn up the speed, fan noise is very noticeable, same as running a portable fan in a room. The adhesive pads included to attach the unit are useless. They do not stay attached. If the unit isnt attached, it rattles around and makes lots of noise. Luckily it has mounting tabs that I was able to use with my own sheet metal screws to attach to the back wall. depending on your fireplace, you may not be able to get access to do the same- so keep that in mind.

So far so good…..it’s been running on high for about an hour now and seems to be doing great. Our old one was making some awful racket and we weren’t sure how old the blower actually was. Then finally it quit on us. Did some research and found this one with pretty good reviews and pulled the trigger on it. Got it 3 days later which I was pleased with. Didn’t take long to install due to already having the old blower out. It was slightly damaged upon arrival but nothing I couldn’t fix nor bad enough to cause me to return for another. I didn’t take any pictures of the broken part or the actual fan for reference because I just wanted to get it Installed and working again. I have to say this fan is much much quieter and was an exact fit for my propane fireplace.

The blower arrived on time but did not work. Looks like it’s a defective return sent back out without inspection. $12.00 reostat board crushed with no continuity showing in any position. Will be sending back if I can’t find a cheap fix. If I sent it back someone will have the same problem. There is no telling how many times this has been shipped out and back again.

the actual unit it fit it would just not. Come on. Maybe thermostat bad.. I do want an exact replacement.
