Bushnell H2O Binoculars

Nice and compact. Visuals are excellent. They were on sale so the price was good

I bought these for bird watching and general outdoor use. These aren't my first binoculars, I've had many different ones through the years, for different uses. They are well made, feel good in the hand, and are easy to adjust. I like that the front lens caps drop down and the ones for the eye cups can be hooked to the strap. The stock strap that came with them wasn't that great and was very long. That was easily replaced with an inexpensive strap found here on Amazon. These aren't the best or most expensive, but they are also not cheap or poorly made. They're that sweet spot of decent outdoor gear that's going to last, but won't break the bank and won't break when you're using them. They're a nice size and weight; also kind of in that sweet spot of not too heavy or large, and they can be carried without being strained. The carrying case is okay; what you'd expect for binoculars in this price range. These will mainly be carried in the main compartment of a Maxpedition Fatboy GG Versapak, so I'm not concerned about the stock case.

I tend to stress out about details and I did WAY too much research to still be so confused before I bought these. A friend had suggested this brand but I was torn between several different magnifications and outer lense sizes. Another friend finally joked - "These are binoculars, not the Hubble telescope- make a decision already!" So I did, and these were perfect!. Easy to use, very well made, large enough field of view to find things quickly and high enough magnification to really see detail while at the same time being low enough magnification to not have much trouble holding them still enough not to experience shaking. I just love these! Also, I initially had concerns about them being too bulky or heavy to want to cart around. These are full sized binoculars but not terribly heavy and the neck strap is comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to carry these on a long extended hike. I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase. (Hint - you can attach the eyepiece cover to the neck strap. That way it will hang loose and out of your way but still be attached and you won’t have to worry about losing it. )

Love these for the price! I struggled a little to decide if I wanted to focus on optical quality or portability. I think these are a nice compromise. I love the way the eye pieces pop out and helps me fit my eye better than I have experienced with other binoculars. The caps are so nice to protect the lenses, but the bottom covers can fall off even with the secondary tether. It would be nice if those could be more firmly attached. The neck strap is soft, but I would like a little more adjustability - the shortest hang I can get still has it at an awkward spot with a lot of swing when hiking. They have been great for birding and whale watching, though! Very pleased overall!

I'm a backyard birdwatcher and I had some really little crummy binoculars that were more annoying than useful. So, I treated myself to a new pair this year and I picked these binoculars after agonizing over all the choices. Well, I am so happy with them I don't know how I managed without them. The price is reasonable, and the quality is fantastic. The lenses are crystal clear, the focus fast and sharp, and I can focus on small Warblers at a close range of about 15 feet or so. They may be a little heavy to carry around all day, but since I don't do that the weight is not an issue for me.

Just received them and we liked them so much that I just ordered a 2nd one for my husband. Great for the price. Not heavy and a pretty clear image.

Very good binoculars for the price point. Great for watching birds and other wildlife.

I do lots of birding and travel frequently. Those are light for travel, very good clear viewing, even in low light, comfy strap, convenient lens caps (stringed the front ones though), water/fog proof. Very happy, highly recommend.

Es el tercer par de binoculares que tengo y estos han sido los mejores. Estuve realizando un estudio en la selva y los utilizaba todos los días para identificar especies de animales. La imagen es muy clara y el aumento suficiente para este uso. Luego de dos años con ellos continúan funcionando como siempre y sin mayores daños. En varias ocasiones estuve en zonas muy húmedas o con lluvia y sus lentes no se empañaron ni se filtró el agua dentro. Eso sí, a veces les llevaba al lado de una botella congelada y ahí sí se empañaban, pero luego de unos 10-15 volvían a la normalidad. Los únicos peros que les pongo son que: 1) sus correas son frágiles y tienden a salirse del arnés, 2) esta misma es delgada y sostenerle con el cuello durante mucho tiempo es bastante cansado, 3) el peso de los binoculares es considerable. A primera impresión pueden no parecer tan pesados, pero sí les utilizas todo el día como yo, la verdad que cansan y uno preferiría que fuera más ligeros. A pesar de ello me sirvieron sin problemas para mi propósito y si los recomiendo.

Best for the price

This binocular is easy to adjust and the image is very sharp. Brought it to an indoor badmintion tournament, even I was sitting far away from the court, but now I can see my favourite players up close with it. ❤️ it, it will be part of my travelling gadgets.

Beautifully clear and not heavy. Excellent binoculars bought as a back up to my canon image stabilisers which are way dearer. For £118 these busnells are brilliant value for money.
