Hello, There is no off button. The sound effect should only activate for a few seconds. If the sounds do not stop, then the sound module is defective. Please contact us and we can send a new replace sound module or set. It depends on which part is defective.

I just gave this to my son & we noticed the battleship destroyer is missing the turrets 1 at the front and 2 at the back? Does it not come with these?
