The parts are very fragile and break very Easly (specially by kids). The installation manual / instructions were very difficult to understand even for me (age 50). No fun playing with it after installation (compared to Lego)

I bought this for my 11 year old granddaughter, aware from the reviews that she would need help with it. When I opened it to take a look at the kit, I decided to try building it myself first, and then buying her another so it wouldn’t be frustrating if it was too difficult. I’m glad I did, because the biggest problem with the kit is that the direction’s illustrated instructions are sparse and hard to follow. It took me about 8 hours over 8 days to build, mostly because the pieces are very delicate and the fittings are tight (as they should be). By the end of each hour, my fingers hurt from the squeezing required to connect the pieces. Brilliantly, the designer seemed to know which pieces were most likely to break, and included doubles! See the video, I found the build challenging but very satisfying to finally wind it up and see it run! I’ll definitely be buying another for myself, and I now feel qualified to show my granddaughter how to complete it..

Challenging but enjoyable to build, with great detail and clear instructions. Makes a beautiful display piece when finished.

This is a great product and a good value. It's challenging and takes some time, so you'll need to have room to store it, but it's really cool. Great for anyone who likes to tinker.
