Comfort Cool Ulnar Booster TFCC Wrist Brace - Black, Left Hand, Medium

I was originally using a different hand brace when my OT recommended me to get this one upon further discovery of problems with my lunate and trio bones. The pressure it applies from both direction gives me the support and comfort I’ve been needing, and helps in me being able to use my hand for day to day tasks especially with little ones.

Very complicated binding scheme. Poor instructions: medical anatomical terms, small illustrations, instructions for a left hand splint came with pictures of right hand. Does not support anything. Non-returnable

Awkward to put. Works somewhat to cushion and reduce pain in the pisiform bone when gripping and swinging a golf club.

Excellent help for an Ulnar injury at the wrist... make sure you place the pad in the correct place as it will help a lot, but can be difficult to place a second or third time. Strap positions and layout should allow you to adjust in any way you need to get the right fit.

I love the concept of this brace, but overall I'm disappointed with the design once the brace is on. It is very cumbersome to donn on properly, especially with one hand. The thumb hole is too tight if I tighten the straps as instructed (I did measure my wrist before purchasing, so I am confident I have the correct size). The diagonal strap is not contoured correctly so it sticks out awkwardly when fastened. While the instructions state that you can trim the straps and edges, if I do that and it still doesn't work, then I'm stuck with it. I will never be able to wear this while working, so defeats the purpose for me.

This would be my 4th wrist brace I have decided to try out. I was injured 3 years ago. Was caught in a conveyor belt and destroyed alot of physical activities for me. Injury included was a bunch of nerve damage and broke my ulnar bone in half. Despite all the bad 3 years 3 different wrist braces. They were either worn out or were not comfortable. This item has alleviated so munch tension from my wrist. TY.

I was hopeful that this brace would help my wrist pain since my doctor recommended this specific brand. It provides some relief, (the “boost” that you place inside of the brace is the key) but the trade off is that while the brace supports your wrist, it rubs the area around your thumb raw. The photos were taken after wearing the brace for one day. The manufacturer should add padding around the thumb opening to make this a better product.
