Great value works well
Ordered this with seeing only 4 left from seller. Never had any issue over the years with Poulan brand & having moved to more rural area needed more outdoor maintenance equipment.Originally had a little hiccup on delivery with FedEx saying in customs delayed. But I contacted Amazon csr they reached out to the seller and the delivery was perfect from there on. They even assured delivery 2 days sooner.Once here got it set up. Box had very minimal dings from delivery. Everything in the box. Assembled. Read fuel mix 1/50 prime bulb underside, lock trigger, pulled easily, started up. Run cycle a few minutes. Lighter on the back and tube for blower great for adjustable arm length, straps adjustable & hold while using. Sound is not high pitch like the electric ones with high output. Really happy with the speed adjustment and overall power for doing the job.Tested out quickly on the leftover leaves from past fall. Happy as a clam for affordable back pack blower. Great for half+ acre property. Now just waiting for this rain to stop so I can get back to spring cleanup.Going to use for clearing snow eventually also.

It's not perfect, but it's better than 4 stars
If I could give this machine a 4.5 star rating I would. It's not perfect, but it's better than 4 stars, hence MY 5 star rating. I refuse to error on the lower side of life, and will always be a glass half full kind of person, so take that as you may. I've only used the machine 3 times in the week I've owned it. A few things that I REALLY LIKE about the machine.A. PRICE. I paid 196ish... for this backpack leaf blower, at the time of this review, and it is the cheapest I've seen.1. Overall look (black and yellow) for me is very appealing and SHARP. What can I say? Aesthetics are not near as important as function, but I.M.O. this is the best looking backpack leaf blower on the market! It just looks good.2. The backpack is lightweight and I've used it for MULTIPLE hours with ease of use, and overall comfort.3. The gas tank allows the machine to run on heavy use for a long time. It lasted at least an hour and half full bore, and more like 2 and half on moderate use for me.4. The response from the trigger is instant and easily adjusted and maintained with cruise control.5. The hose is screwed together and will not come apart easily like other blowers I've used in the past.6. The backpack itself is fairly compact and easily stored. The minor annoyances (not bad) just annoyances.1. The directions to put the machine together are about as good as the charmin extra soft you use to wipe your @** with. It took me 15 minutes and it should've taken about 3. For goodness sakes people why don't companies jump into the 21st century and just post a youtube video of one of the company members putting their product together out of the box? Would it be that hard?2. The machine is LOUD. The backpack is right by your ears. You will probably want hearing protection, but it is a 48 cc engine and you have to sacrifice a little loudness for the extra horses to run.3. The machine has fired up for me every single time using the instructions to start it. Instructions read "pump the primer bulb 6 times, pull choke out, pull cord three times, pump 4 more times, pull 3 times and push choke in".... or close to that.... you see where I'm going with this. It's just like every other 2 cycle engine out their. They sometimes can be a pain to start. I haven't had any issues with it, and if memory serves correctly .... it fired up after the 6 pumps and second pull ,all 5 or 6 times I've started it now, but time will tell if it remains easy to start. I'd love to see some kind of electric start, but for under $200.00 that will probably never happen.4. The power is tough for me. It does the job well. I've been able to move fairly large piles of leaves, small sticks, and very small rocks at moderate distances.... but I guess I just figured with a 48cc engine, at full bore, I'd need to brace myself for the amount of force coming out.... This is not the case. It's powerful enough to get what I need done, but I wasn't WOWED by all the power. I'd love to see the test results of the box stated 200MPH.5. I wish poulan made some kind of wall storage, for this unit. It's kind of tough to stow because the extension is long and obtruse.None of these minor annoyances are worth taking a whole star off. I love the machine and hope it lasts me many MANY seasons. I will update the review if needed.

Very easy to use and assemble.
We gothe the blower and started to put together. Took about 10-20 minutes to assemble. It requires a mixture of two stroke oil (which was provided for the first run) and gasoline. It is not as quiet as described but I like the power it offers for the price. Very easy to use.

Great blower
Been using mine for 3 years now consistently and haven’t had one problem. Cranks up every time very easily, 2 pulls every single time, one on choke, turn off choke, pull, and It’s running.and blows more than hard enough to get the job done. I have literally had not one issue with this blower and have done zero maintenance so far

Easier than handheld gas unit
This backpack unit (possibly all backpack units) is easier to use for long running cleanups due to no centrifugal effects fighting the left - right swing of the nozzle compared to the handheld units. The centrifugal effect is caused by the rotation of the fan which wants to hold the fan in the same plane. Since the backpack fan stays in pretty much the same plane compared to the left - right swing of the handheld units there is less torque effect. Over time, the torque on the arm adds up. When only a nozzle is doing the left - right swing, there is no torque to overcome. As for this particular unit, it starts easily so far (5 times used, 2 tank fulls), is very powerful, has a good range of speed, and is not overly loud for a blower.
