This fireplace insert is amazing! It looks like the real thing without the smoke smell. We have a wood burning fireplace and wanted to convert to gas or electric but the price to convert is very expensive. This unit is a plug and play, and fits right inside the existing fireplace. What we love about it: 1) looks like the real thing with flickering flames and smoldering embers, 2) 5 different color options for “flames”, 3) temperature adjustable from 70 to 95 degrees, 4) timer options available, 5) safety turnoff in case of overheating built in. 6) quiet! 7) visually pleasing and good ambiance. 8) excellent value for the price point. 9) heats our entire living room up in minutes! Cons: none! Well, there is 1, I wish I would have purchased this sooner! If you are looking for an affordable insert? Look no further.

I’d highly suggest giving this fireplace insert a try if you’re looking to make your space feel cozy and welcoming. I wish I’d picked it up 15 years ago! It’s completely changed the mood of our front parlor. Now, when people come in, they’re instantly drawn to the fireplace with the feeling of mingling and relaxing. We have an older house where our original brick fireplace is unsafe to use and too costly to repair. For years we’ve lived with this old fireplace located in the middle of our parlor and honestly the vibe was always kind of cold, scary, and definitely uninviting. I started doing research on these fireplace inserts and finally decided on this brand and model. This particular unit comes with 5 LED color options. Separate flame brightness adjustments. Separate space heater temperature options. Separate auto timer shutoff from 30 min to 8hrs. The uploaded video features the “polar” light option on and the heating option is off. The two photos show the “amber” option and the “blue” option. The space heater works amazingly to heat up our space and the overall sound is about what u would expect from a normal space heater with a fan. U have options to use the LED fire display with or without the heater. It also comes with a remote control that requires 2 AAA batteries (not included) You have the option of just using the digital display located on the unit itself and or the remote. Included very clear detailed instructions. Pre-measure ur fireplace or space to see what size unit works best. The electrical cord is located on the right side of the unit. Purchase 2 AAA batteries if you fancy using the fireplace unit with the remote control. Don’t forget to peel off the protective film on the glass located at the back of the unit. (we didn’t see this at first and only happened to notice it when we were moving the unit around. The unit has a memory after it’s turned off. Once it’s turned on again it’s already preset with ur previous preferences. Enjoy loving ur old fireplace again!

I bought a screen to make the log heater more authentic. There is a setting that creates a flame in the back that makes it look more real. It's all about the ambience. I like it very much because it has a thermostat, so I don't worry about over-heating, plus it has several settings, and it quiet.

I have an old fireplace that needs ceramic tile work. I found this gem on Amazon and this was an inexpensive, quick fix for my fireplace. I was surprised how realistic this insert looks. I didn’t buy the model with fireplace sounds, I used my Alexa and searched “fireplace sounds” and it works just as well. As others reported, the heater doesn’t throw enough heat to warm up a large room but I still like the feature. The remote is another nice feature, there are controls on the fireplace insert itself without having to use the remote. My remote works fine when I am sitting on my couch, I don’t have to get that close to the fireplace for it to turn on and heat. The flames flicker and the colors are beautiful, for a fake fireplace, it is really nice. It’s obviously fake but I love it!! I took this picture while it was still light out and it still looked cozy. Overall, I am very happy that I purchased this fireplace electric insert . The best part is I don’t have to deal with after fire smell or ashes to clean! I highly recommend this product.

We had a wood burning fireplace that we hardly ever used because of various reasons, and wanted a simple replacement to fill the void. A gas unit was not an option because running a gas line was impossible. We saw this unit at a friend's place and thought we'd give it a try. The unit came ready to install, with a 6' ft long cord with a standard plug. I had an electrical outlet nearby to plug into, and bought and painted some wire moulding to hide the power cord (see small photo). The fireplace gives a nice effect with about 6 color flame choices provided by colored LEDs and a some reflective mirrors. There is also a built-in heater option provided by a 1300watt ceramic heater which will provide some warmth to a small space. Overall, we are very happy with the purchase. The price is reasonable and is an easy solution to replacing the old wood-burner.

I love this so much! Read wood fires are great in so many ways, but not very convenient. I put this is my fireplace and I turn it on every morning. I love that I can still have the ambiance of a fire without the heat when I don't need it. It will be easy to remove during a power outage if I need to build a real fire.

This thing is amazing. It fit our fireplace perfect and it looks so real. The sound is the only thing that sounds bad. They should have invested in a bigger speaker that produces a little more mid or low end as the crackling sounds high pitch and fake. The heat is amazing as well. The sleep mode with the Amber only glowing is so life like

Well this electric fireplace is a really nice addition to our family room. The placement was easy in our fireplace, not too heavy and it looks great in all the color configurations and speeds. This room is adjoined by a dining room and entry way and the heat definitely takes a bite out of the room when its colder. Timer and thermostat work great. We knew it wasn't going to get the rooms hot hot because of the rooms size, but never less we enjoy the ambience and happy with the heat element. It's also pretty quiet. It looks amazing in the fireplace, but the heater is weak, need to have it at max to make any change in temp. The "fire crackle" is horrible, sounds like someone is crumbling up tin foil, speakers are terrible. Has the right idea, just need to improve those two things.

I got this on a prime day deal for 95$ + tax and it's amazing, the quality for that price! It throws a good heat - the fan is a bit loud, but it's not horrible. You can also have it on just the light setting, in which case there is no noise. It looks better with a screen in front I find, that just blurrs the features enough to make it more realistic. For size reference, our out-of-commission fireplace is about 29" wide and this fits perfectly, lots of room to maneuver it, but it still fills it out nicely.

Works great and adds a cozy vibe for my previously boarded up fireplace that I wasn't willing to pay thousands of dollars to add a gas or wood insert. Is quite large and fits nicely. I like the back lights that fill the space. I do wish it had some crackling noise, although from other product reviews I've read, those noises can seem a little tacky. Overall very please with this!

When you first turn on it heats up pretty good when temp is reached it shuts off and won't come back on must turn right off and then on to bad it looks good
