Fantastic induction hob. High quality at a reasonable price.

This isn't perfect , however it is still good enough to receive a 5* rating . So anyway, my 17 year old Neff domino electric hob developed a slight fauIt and needed replacing , I prefer Neff but i am short the £600 the Neff induction domino would cost , as super cheap is often scary in terms of longevity , I went with something mid range , this Klarstein seemed well specified and perhaps a bit too inexpensive because of that, so I researched other products in their range and they seem to have a healthy enough review history , so I gave this a go , ordering it directly from Klarstein ( which ultimately made it about £25 cheaper in all ) . On to the review dear reader . Be aware this review is based on using it only once , and providing this review because I have nothing else to do , but if it turns nasty and bites me I will update. The controls appear complicated at first glance , but I was able to work out what to do with all the functions (except one) in under a minute , however I'm guessing that for members of the teeming moronic masses (and probability dictates you are likely to be a proud fully inducted member ) you will take 5 minutes, still not understand it , then resort to hitting it with a club of some description. So here are the sweet things , it looks well designed and elegant , which always inspires confidence. All of the functions tested work , it is easy to install. Here are the negatives, the fan is on all the time , I have a Siemens full size induction that very rarely decides to switch on its fan. The other thing is that the installation manual states this machine must be grounded , however it does not come with a green grounding wire ,(apparently that is not necessary due to there being no conductive metal in the "carapace" which you can touch) . The other thing I found interesting was the gauge of the blue and brown wires, much thinner than I would have naturally guessed , however they do the job. So if I've convinced you to purchase this on the basis of my "used only once" review , then whip your credit card out with the speed of a western gunfighter of yesteryear and join me on this adventure into the good looking but pretty much unknown . Oh yeah , it might be made in China, but the box is across the room , the cat is comfortable on my leg , and I cant be bothered to check.

Works as expected - the booster function is a must for cold pans of water bringing them quickly to boiling. Timer works switching off the pans as required. Removed one star because the bleep to let you know the pan has switched off when using the timing function is not loud enough and only bleeps once - fine if you are in the kitchen but often I am not. On my Old CDA units - the bleep was really loud and lasted for a good 5 mins ( until cleared) which you could hear from another room. Also they are supplied without a plug - the electric cables look thin but no issues after a couple of weeks of use.

Sadly the item arrived in MANY little pieces. Had to return immediately with ups driver. Item had not been packed at all well for international travel. Tried to contact Klarstein immediately to ask for a replacement as our new kitchen is being installed the end of next week. Had a reply that they would contact me as soon as possible, and our money would be refunded after they received the item, in 5 to 7 working days. Who can afford to buy another hob when they haven't been reimbursed for the item returned by the same UPS delivery ! They had proof it was being immediately returned so why not reply. What is the point of them having a seller contact if they do not respond !

Unser Induktionsfeld eines namhaften Herstellers für übet 1000€ war nach 7 Jahren schon kaputt. Das hat uns so geärgert, dass wir dieses mal ein günstiges Produkt ausprobieren wollten. Positiv: Die flexiblen Zonen funktionieren super. Die Leistung ist top. Das Nudelwasser kocht nach wenigen Minuten und deutlich schneller als beim 7 Jahre alten Markenprodukt. Das rahmenlose Design ist toll und sehr schlicht. Wenn man z. B. nur auf Stufe 4 kocht wird die Leistung in Intervallen abgegeben. Kocht - kocht nicht - kocht - kocht nicht. Zwei Punkte sind nicht optimal: Man hört den Lüfter schon deutlich, das geht aber unterm sobald die Dunstabzugshaube läuft. Es nervt etwas, dass man die Platte immer wieder neu auswählen muss, bevor man die Stufe anpassen kann. Selbst, wenn nur eine Platte benutzt wird. Das ist aber alles meckern auf sehr hohem Niveau, wenn man den Preis berücksichtigt. Über die Haltbarkeit können wir noch nichts sagen. Wenn das Teil 3-4 Jahre hält wäre ich zufrieden.

Das Induktionskochfeld von Klarstein bietet für einen Preis von rund 360 Euro insgesamt eine sehr überzeugende Leistung. Zuvor hatte ich ein deutlich teureres Induktionskochfeld von Neff (ca. 800 Euro), das über zehn Jahre zuverlässig im Einsatz war. Vor diesem Hintergrund fällt der Vergleich positiv aus, auch wenn man preislich in einer anderen Kategorie unterwegs ist. Besonders gelungen ist das rahmenlose Design. Dadurch gibt es keine festen Begrenzungen, und Töpfe sowie Pfannen lassen sich sehr flexibel positionieren, was im Kochalltag ein echter Vorteil ist. Die Glasoberfläche wirkt hochwertig verarbeitet und fügt sich optisch gut in eine moderne Küche ein. Ein echtes Plus ist die BBQ-Funktion zum Zusammenlegen der Kochzonen. Größere Pfannen oder Grillplatten lassen sich damit problemlos nutzen, was die Einsatzmöglichkeiten deutlich erweitert. Sehr angenehm ist auch die zentrale Temperaturregelung. Der Regler reagiert sensibel und präzise. Klassische Plus- und Minus-Tasten, wie man sie von älteren Modellen kennt, empfand ich immer als eher umständlich – hier ist die Lösung deutlich komfortabler. Die Kochleistung ist schnell und gleichmäßig. Abzüge gibt es bei den Lüftern, die während des Betriebs hörbar sind und nach dem Abschalten noch eine Zeit lang nachlaufen. Technisch nachvollziehbar, aber akustisch präsent. Insgesamt ein modernes, funktionales Induktionskochfeld mit sehr gutem Gegenwert zum Preis, starken Design- und Bedienvorteilen.

Lieferung war sehr schnell. Gerät arbeitet wie es soll. Hilfreich ist die Booster Funktion. Schnell und effizient.

Artikel macht für den Preis hochwertigen Eindruck. Geräuschpegel im Mittelfeld. Leistung hervorragend.
