Bought these dove tail scope brackets for my 22 long rifle which has the 3/8” slide. Fit like a charm and really connected firmly and securely to the rifle. The scope hold tightly and I should be good to go.

These Monstrum Dovetail scope rings (1" diameter, 1.20" center height) were a good fit for my Marlin model 25N (.22 lr) to mount a Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x40 scope. They tighten onto the dovetail slot by compression, so as you tighten the screws, the base of the ring compresses a bit. Being made of aluminum, I think it would be easy to strip the threads unless care is taken not to overtighten. Since I don't have a Torx bit for my torque wrench, I used the included tool and just increased tension evenly until everything was snug. The rings set the scope at just the right height so that there's room to work the bolt. For the price, I don't see anything wrong with these rings.

I used these scope rings to install a 3-9x40 on my 22 bolt action rifle. They are made of quality aluminum, and were free from any manufacturing defects that I could see. They mounted easily on the dovetail, and hold securely. I got these rings so I could use the iron sights and the scope on my rifle, and they work wonderfully for that purpose. I would advise that you want to make sure you have an adjustable height cheek rest to make sure you get a proper cheek weld. The only "downside" I can find (though it is a minor inconvenience) is that they use a torx screw, not a hex head. So you need to make sure to keep track of the tool that comes with it, unless you have a torx set, or a screwdriver kit with multiple heads. I usually prefer torx head screws for other uses, but not a huge fan on machine screws.
