Incredible book just what I needed for the family. It seems doctors do not have the time to do their job as it should be done. All the programs on TV tell you to ask questions about your medications and your doctor should be happy to get them and facilitate your request. A more informed patient is a better patient. Wow! not true at any doctors offices or visits I have been to. They leave the very important part of their job to luck and your pharmacist. If you have a bad reaction or allergic one they expect you to call your pharmacist about the problem or go to a hospital. But stop using the medication immediately. I have been on blood pressure medications for as much as 5 years then start having a problem. Went to hospital due to allergic reaction. My wife was put through a lot of trouble washing clothing and bed linens. At the suggestion it may be a change of detergent. In short it took 5 trips to the emergency room over this problem to finally find out it was a blood pressure medication I had been on for over 5 years. Doctors never have enough time to do their job correctly them pass the problems on to others. When I have asked about the situation later on at a visit. We all hear the same thing. Oh! We just practice medicine here it not a sure thing. This book is the same a doctor or practioner uses in their office, you can't go wrong. Sincerely, Rev. Joseph

Five Stars
Excellent medication guide. Am disappointed that the identification portion has been abbreviated so much to render pill/capsule ID useless.

Incomplete compared to prior editions
Very surprised at the abbreviated nature of the 2017 edition. This edition has less than half the number of pages of our 2005 edition. Unlike the older editions, it completely lacks the clinical pharmacology info and the diagrams. Rather than the comprehensive work it once was, it's now just a "quick reference" requiring that you dig further on the Internet to get the complete picture. Very disappointing. If you have an older version my advice is to hold onto it and don't waste your money on a newer edition.

Anyone who is taking lots of meds or a few should have one of these on hand. So informative.
