Women's 2976 Women's Smooth Leather Chelsea Boot

I’d been eyeing these for ages, and I’m thrilled to have bought them. For a minute, I thought about returning them and going a size up. I wear a half size and size down, as many reviews told me too, and I wasn’t sure it was the right way to go. However, after several wears, they’re much more comfortable. The ankle is especially stiff, but that keeps them on and keeps them held in place just right.

My wife loves these and they look great on her. Glad I got the women’s style. They are very stiff and need to be worn a lot to break them in. My wife complained the first few times about sore ankles, but now it’s much better. Try to wear them for short periods until they feel more comfortable.

I've worn these about 6 times and they are the most painful boot I've ever worn. I can't believe they are actually leather, they are so stiff and hurt the tops of my feet. I even got bruises the first day. I love my combat boot style Docs, which are the most comfortable and soft boot. I've had them for about 8 years. These Chelsea boots are miles apart in quality. Not sure if it's a decline in the company overall or just this style.

Classic style, good fit. I was able to catch these on sale. Still a little pricey, but still looking good after a year of use and even more comfortable than when I bought them.

Love love love!! Everything you would expect from Dr Martens. Break period of course. I just received mine and unlike other reviews getting used pairs or not matching pictures or description…. The boot does match EXACTLY the description and the pictures… i people should look at what they are purchasing. Came in a authentic Dr Marten box with tags intact and everything. For size reference I’m a 8 1/2 I went down a half size as suggested and the boots fit like a glove. I can not wait to break them! Absolutely perfect for winter. Dress up or down. I’m extremely happy with this purchase

Loved them but they run a little small .

Beautiful, high quality leather boots, as you'd expect from Doc Martens! I deducted a star because the left insole had an uncomfortable ridge across the middle from the first time I put them on. I took insole out today, after more than a months of regular wear, and I saw that the adhesive holding the leather insole together was completely detached! I still love the boots, and I'm happy the original insoles are easy to pull out. But, I'll be replacing them with generic boot insoles before my next wear!
