Gentle Tea Tree Oil Foaming Facial

I was told by my ophthalmologist that I should get tea tree oil wipes to help cut back on demadex organisms on the eyelids, but then I came across this product. I’m glad I got it because it feels great, smells great, is non-greasy, and has stopped the itchiness I was experiencing from the demadex mites! Make sure to use a moisturizer though because repeated use of this product did cause some dry skin initially.

EYEECO Gentle Tea Tree Eyelid & Facial Cleanser:OMG, what a life changer! Three eye doctors and no solution to major swelling and pain around the eyes and cheekbones and severe dry eyes. Exasperated, I asked "Dr. Google AI" to show me pics of eyes with diseases and saw one that looked exactly like mine. It said demodex infestation. This was the product that popped up as a solution and, oh my, what a difference!!!!I used the scrub the afternoon that it arrived and again that night. By morning, so much swelling had gone that the former bags under my eyes looked like crepe paper, like a tummy right after giving birth. I'm guessing that I had been having an allergic reaction to the mites and the sudden decrease in their population gave me tremendous relief.I used it three times a day for two days and then decreased to morning and evening, which apparently may be needed for six weeks to break their reproductive cycle. I also use it on the oiliest places of the face, the sides of the nose, the chin, and the part of the ear canal that the pinky finger can reach. Apparently, these are places when sebaceous glands and hair follicles abound, and that's where the mite thrive."Dr. Google AI" says there are two kinds of demodex. The long ones are easy to see at the base of the eyelashes, but the short ones live more in the glands and are harder to detect. The only clue I had, aside from the extreme swelling, conjunctivitis, and severe dry eyes, was a bit of flaking on the skin below my eyes, and I do not have dry skin, so that was what tipped me off with the Google photo. I am no longer experiencing the swelling and pain in the cheekbones and around the eyes, but going so long with the sticky eyelids has damaged my conjunctiva which are now too loose and messing up my vision. Wish I had discovered this cleanser when the whole problem first began.As for the product: I love the dispenser. You can press just a little out at a time. Just be sure you don't twist the lid counterclockwise when you put it on the bottle because it can cause the pump to unscrew from the bottle. Also, I drew a big X on the clear cap with a felt tip pen because it's hard to see it on the cabinet.NOTE: "Dr. Google AI" also recommended brushing the eyelids with MCT coconut oil, claiming it has antibiotic and antiinflammatory properties. I happened to have some on hand and tried swiping a small amount across the closed eyelids after using the tea tree oil scrub. While it was the most soothing thing I have ever felt on my eyes, softening the eyelids and lashes, and immediately eliminating gooey tears and producing instant clear vision, it is not necessarily sanitary., so I stopped. Tea tree oil can irritate the skin or at least leave the skin feeling dehydrated and the coconut oil was a refreshing post cleaning application, but I don't want to risk introducing germs into my eyes. Bottom line, Dr. Google has it's risks, but this tea tree cleanser was a win. Not so sure about coconut oil that is not produced in a sterile environment and packaged for use on the eyes. I'll keep looking for that.

I have extremely dry eyes. This product is my best friend. I use it daily. In September of 24, I finished my cataract surgery. I know this product has helped my new “bionic” eyes along with a great surgeon and eye doctor give me 20/20 sight without glasses. Placing an order before the old one becomes empty keeps me assured that I will always have this gentle cleanser that is so compatible with my skin and eyes. I use it daily. And my face doesn’t look 70 years old. It’s a great natural cleanser for both my face and eyes. My arthritic hands don’t have any problems using the product. Two pumps on the easy to use container is the easiest part of my day.

I first learned of this product from my Eye Specialist. I have implants. This product is absolutely wonderful, especially for cleaning the eyes. There is no irritation of any kind. For cleaning the eye area, you use only a miniscule amount on a cotton round. There is no fragrance.

I have sensitive eyes and a friend suggested this cleanser. It is great! I have had no issues with it. Bottles last about 2 months. It's effective, has natural ingredients and is good value for the money.

This is the best solution I’ve found to clean and soothe my eyelids for dry eye and and blepharitis. I would appreciate if they sold it in a double pack with a discount since it’s kind of expensive, but otherwise it’s effective. Be warned, if you take this on the airplane, you will lose half the bottle due to the pressure and bottle style. Probably better to travel with wipes.

I had an eye infection and my eye doctor recommended this to clean my eyes as well as being a face wash. Works great. No burning. Glad I found this.
