Pure Garden Half Umbrella Outdoor Patio Shade, 9ft, Champagne

Have had for a year. It has faded but is completely functional still. It was the cheapest half umbrella I could find at the time and its very good quality. Half umbrellas are great for our grilling area, over a cat tree next to the house and any smaller area. Provides good shade and has an easy crank. Its also a good tall height

we use this zip tied to our patio stairs, against the door to keep rain out, sun off the window and it has held up tremendously well. and we get a ton of wind in the afternoon. surprisingly its held up through it all. granted, it has faded quite drastically but its doing what I needed it to do.

This is a good value for the money, an ingenious way to put an umbrella right up against the house. It is not a high-end umbrella, however. Read the description! That said, I do think that it's a good value for the money and it's a nice umbrella. The color is good. It's sturdy. I can't speak to durability or wind resistance, because I've had a very short time. But I would recommend it as long as you take it down in the winter.

We use the against the house over the patio doors. Makes a definite difference in helping keep the room a bit cooler.

I purchased two umbrellas in 2023 from this same vendor that was a good quality. Bt what a big difference in material, when I purchased two more just this month. These new umbrellas are lighter with cheap thin plastic at the crank, does not feel sturdy, is missing the metal clip at the top to keep secure when opened and what happened to the tie strap used when it's closed, that's missing too. You could have at least had a velcro tie strap. Are we now to use bungie cords? I don't like purchasing something at a low price that LOOK LIKE I paid a low price as in a BUDGET BUY! It looks cheap. I doubt it will last the summer.

I have an east-facing window with direct "searing" morning sunlight that also contributes to solar heating of a small enclosed porch. Because this window has a beautiful view to the outside, I really hated to install blinds or curtains. I tried a traditional round umbrella, and it provided no real shade. However, THIS 9 ft half-umbrella in a beautiful shade of blue is a GAME CHANGER!! The umbrella pole is easy to assemble/disassemble, measuring 1.5 inches in diameter, with a solid fit in the base. The crank feature, rather than push up, is fantastic, allowing me to fully or partially extend for the sun angle. In addition to providing awesome shade from the sun, it looks great on the deck. The umbrella also helps to reduce the amount of solar heating in the porch, and it doesn't hide the view from the window. This umbrella is well made and a great deal. (I saw similar models online 2 an 3 times this price.) Even if I'm not outside, I am definitely enjoying this umbrella every morning!!
