These are supposed to be rechargeable the once I received are not rechargeable.

1 month so far all is good, the range and pickup is sufficient. The main unit is AC then the eyes use batteries. The eyes get a lot of use and seem to be working great.

The new style sensors both only had a range of about 200', the 5 year old style USB charge sensors worked flawlessly to 1/2 mile through trees and bush.

Works great for us. Buying two let us know when someone is actually driving in instead of wondering if it's an animal.

Bought this set to make sure I'm aware when someone is coming up the driveway, and placed the second at the back door to know when the cat has returned from his adventures. Both sensors have worked flawlessly for many many months without requiring a charge at all. Honestly, surprised how long they've continued to work! I've got the indoor receiver plugged into a USB power adapter so I never have to worry about the battery there. The volume can get quite loud so you can hear it in the whole house if desired. I do wish it could be a little quieter before it reaches the muted setting (the lights on the base will still blink an alert). One other minor nitpick is that the alert sounds are not very configurable. The alert you hear is tied to the chosen channel, which can be selected inside each sensor and there are only a few (4?) channels Regardless, can easily recommend this.
