BBTO Weather Stripping Door Window Seal V-Shaped Foam Kerf,40 Feet,White

I bought this to make a sealed door to my attic spaces. The pictures show how I cut a slot and installed the seal. It seems to work well and lowered the temperature and the humidity in the room adjacent to the attic spaces. As long as you can get the dimensions correct, the installation is simple and the product is efficient.

Perfect fit! So I decided one day that I was going to replace all my doors weather stripping. And didn’t know there were different sizing and materials. So I bought 2 other types before finally deciding to try to match what I pulled off. I bought 2 different foam sizes that didn’t fill the gaps. As you can see in pictures with light around the door that was 2 sizes of foam together and it still didn’t fill the gap. My old weather stripping was scratched up by my dog. So one day I just ripped all the doors stripping out. Some wouldn’t close and some weren’t big enough. I was worried when I finally bought this because I doing know the size I ripped out. But I remember it looked like this! Well this one fits perfectly. There is no adhesive like the foam but that’s ok because it’s slides into the “kerf” which I had to Google that word. And not all my doors have a kerf. But my back door was killing my with the sun coming through and the heat and everything else that comes with a gap. The durability on this stuff is great! Nice and firm. Worked well with my kerf just pushed it on it and slid my hand down to make sure it went in. And I tell you it’s night and day the difference. I don’t hear the dogs barking or kids playing. The air is cool in my kitchen. No bugs coming through. And it’s easy to remove and replace. Easy to cut with simple scissors. I think I used my kids school scissors. The shipping was next day. And I’m happy! Just buy this. It should fit if you pulled out one like it. My door closes fitted doesn’t slam. The dogs can’t just push it open when it’s unlocked. I feel like I got a new back door!

I have bought this a few times now, it works really well and is super easy to install. Great for the price and I will probably only use this moving forward!

Very handy to have around to replace old one ,it’s easy to install, but I hope they make it more rough so my cat stop chewing it. Definitely recommend getting for insulation

Just observe how The old insulation was installed as you remove it. Yo might need a flathead screwdriver to pry the Frame slightly it the bead is tight to go in. The bead goes into the track of the frame and insulations V shape opens to the Frame. You do not want the V shape to open to the door. It will get caught on something and rip in no time. Cut this to length give yourself a little more insulation you can trim off excess with a scissor as needed. You can cut off a small piece of the plastic track so the foam reaches the top corner of the door frame. This took me 10 minutes to install. Comes in a Great selection of colors. I went to Home Depot and the cost was double and it only came in 7' 1/2" pack so they force you to buy 3 packs. 22" for 2x the price Vs. this offer at 40"...this is a no brainier. Door frames are typically 8". This price you could replace 2 Doors or hold onto it and replace any side that eventually shows excessive wear. How about you be kind and go see if a neighbor or family member need their door insulation replaced. Once you fix yours you will become a pro installer. So easy. Chris

For the cost, this seems like a great purchase. I compared this to pre-cut lengths that were more expensive. I didn't want to be short on one of the parts so I thought the roll was a nice idea. a whole roll for the cost of the other products, and I would have to buy 3x of the other products then cut and toss away some fort he top of the door. the roll makes so much more sense. My issue is, the density is thin. Some advertise noise absorption and things like that. I did notice the strip I was replacing was thicker than this. If you can find a thicker version of this, I would go with that. This worked great otherwise. I just wish it were a bit thicker to block the cold out and block more of the outside noise.
