Worked really well for overhead stick welding,also on the thick walled steel I could wrap it round and it helped when the pipe got hot and it was unharmed.

This isn't a bad hood, big enough for my 62 cm head and is well made ....HOWEVER adverts describes a cotten inner or liner, but it's not cotton or not like any cotton ever ever seen or felt!. The liner is nylon which makes it slip around on your head during use and it sounds like you've got your head in a plastic bag with a constant rustling noise. If the liner was cotton I'd have given it 5 stars but a nylon inner on a welding hood 🤔 not a good idea

Does as advertised. No more burns on the neck and head. I would recommend.

For the value of the money, this is a great addition to your welding gear. For the value for the money, it was well worth the purchase for me as I particularly use this for grinding. The size is a one fit all which is great. This is heat resistance as sparks from grinding metal have not penetrated through to burn me. The functionality is wonderful, one of the best things they invented as I dislike metal dust or powder coat dust on my neck. It keeps you clean and protected for burns and sparks. I convinced several coworkers to purchase this product and they loved the idea behind it. I still use this product almost everyday since I have purchased it.. It really has held up to it is made of good material. It's not super heavy or super light.It's like the perfect weight. It is comfortable to wear besides looking ridiculous but it is well worth the money.
